After paying the same amount for a pack of three or even four readers I realized that these cheaper packs are not very durable and I'm back buying replacements. These Peepers are obviously better quality and worth a few extra bucks.

These glasses are durable! When not in use, they ride the top of my head. Can’t tell you how many times they have slid off (due to my err), and remain just like new. I’m ordering a second pair today.

These frames feel great , look great but have broken without any reason On my last 2 purchases. The frame splits thus popping out the lens. On another issue , the ear pieces Need to be torqued down quite often So make sure and purchase a tiny screw driver. I always get compliments on their appearance, but something has changed in their manufacturing process. I have been wearing this same model for about 4 years and they inevitably break, but they are breaking within 4 weeks time now ,and that is unacceptable.

These were my favorite readers because they were so flattering. So, I treated them with care: kept them in a good leather case (not the one Peepers gives you, which is worthless). I use readers only when I wear my contact lenses, and I have worn glasses for over 40 years and know how to care for them. I was so upset when they broke - I didn’t drop them or sit on them and I pulled them out of their case and realized that one lens was loose because the frame had cracked. I have readers that I bought back when I first needed them, TEN years ago, that are similar to these in every way except one: They lasted! I would not recommend buying these unless you understand they they are ultimately disposable. I am so disappointed. Now I have to find another pair or buy these again, knowing that in less than a year they will bite the dust. Do not buy them.
