Now, for a beginner, most machines you'd ideally want if you're getting serious about tattooing, would be a bit more costly than this. But for someone who's doing it recreationally, trying to get a feel, or just wants something fun to use, I definitely recommend. Came with all the items listed in the image, and while the skin is a bit thin and smears, and the ink is a bit cheap, you get what you pay for. The power supply allows you to try different voltage rates, which is very handy, and the buzzing noise isn't too bad, and neither is the actual vibration on the machine. Surprisingly leight weight, and very easy to put together. Took me three minutes total to read instructions and get started. I got this for myself to learn how to do basic, outline tattoos. I love how lightweight the gun itself is. Since I’m not sure what to expect as it’s my first one; I definitely have enjoyed it. The needle doesn’t feel rough or weird on my skin. I feel that I can have a good grip at all times so I don’t have to worry about it getting too heavy if I’m holding it for a long time. I got mine in red and love the color! It comes with its own needles and some ink, practice “skin” and wrap, etc. the “skin” definitely doesn’t prepare you as much for skin contact, but helped me get used to the needle and how to make sure the depth was deep enough to actually make a tattoo. for me, personally, the colors didn’t show up too well on darker skin but showed up okay on lighter toned (this is my biggest peeve). So I had to order ink elsewhere (that’s ok). There are outline & shading needles. I’ve only used the outline needles and have had no issues. For this being my first cartridge tattoo gun, I actually like it a lot. My only problem is the needles that come with said tattoo machine. They are terrible, which is confusing to me when I bought the same size needles from the same brand separately and they work much better. Over all a decent machine. I just took an old unusable stencil. Free handed most of it, stencil. Just to see how this thing would do. Honestly Im over the fake skin. I was to lazy to fill in the black. I run my machine kinda low 7.8, and run my hand slow. For the most part my lines came in ok with one pass. Im pretty confident I could do a tattoo with this machine. You can always make a second pass if at first you dont succeed. ... show more

Tattoo are healing so much better, zero scabbing with my most recent tatt! Very impressed at how easy this machine is to use. Only complaint is how slick it is, makes it hard to grip, but a little medical tape is an easy fix.

So far the machine works great and has a good weight to it BUT the plug for the tattoo pen is very finicky and the pen will stop if it moves in the slightest lmao Also the fake skin provided SUCKS (unless it's just the provided ink being super weak?) so I definitely recommend getting better fake skin/ink elsewhere but otherwise this kit *for practice and beginners* rocks :) ... show more
