I have to admit to being truly shocked when I ran this tattoo machine. I have never seen, nor have I ever used a plastic rotary tattoo pen. This was a first, and it was an eye-opening experience. The tattoo pen was very, very smooth, and though it had some fairly significant noise in the upper voltage ranges (9v-12v), it was very impressive in the actual "working" range of this pen. That said, I must add that the lightness of the pen is, in my view, a disadvantage. The fact that the tattoo pen works by "kicking" ink into the skin via the needle cartridge suggests that a heavier pen is an advantage. Yes, I know lots of tattooists use lighter pens, and that does somewhat justify this pen, and it's light weight. I do love being able to see the internal workings of the pen. Fun! The tattoo kit is good, overall, though I think this would be better if it avoided the AC power setup, altogether, and simply included a cheap battery pack. However, know that you can run this pen either way. I ran it via my own battery pack, from 3.0v-12v, and it was nice all the way through. When one wishes to go AC, simply use the RCA jack at the top of the pen, and the included clip cord, power cable, AC power supply and foot switch. The AC power supply is pretty good, considering it's encased in plastic, and very light. It's setup to run a single liner, and a single shader at the same time. Nice feature. It also has a large digital LED readout on top, and is easy to adjust. My one issue with it is that it's so light that it will doubtless slide around, and end up on the floor near your work table. I think a strip of hook-and-loop fastener will solve that. Also included in this kit: A box of 20 good needle cartridges, five small bottles of ink (practice inks), a single roll of narrow black grip tape, a single pair of blue latex exam gloves, a set of ink caps, several tattoo design transfer sheets (mine has five sheets, a single thin small sheet of tattoo practice skin and an instruction manual. For the price this kit is a super value, and it's even more so with the plastic, see-though pen. I encourage anyone to try this out before buying a more expensive set. It's really shocking how well this pen runs, and how underpriced this kit is. ... show more

Works just fine I was skeptical buying it at first cause it was so cheap but it's quiet and easy to use. I added a photo of what I tattooed on some fake skin I wiped and ink went all over whatever you tattoo just dab don't wipe the ink won't come off lol.

If you’re just getting started with tattooing, a kit like this is a decent one to begin with to get the hang of a pen machine, aside from the basics like setup. Not too loud, not too quiet either, but does its job. The ink is what you’d expect of samplers, but practice is practice, I suppose. Props to all the artist out there. Tattooing is easy, doing it correctly is hard! This kit has everything you need to give it a try. The practice skins are amazing and keep me from making a permanent regret of my lives choices. I'm a total beginner so I don't k ow what a professional would say about the quality but it works well for this beginner. Literally everything you need to get started from stencils and ink to the tattooing machine itself. I would order more skins so you can hone your mad skills ... show more

This isnt my first tattoo pens I have had many and wormhole always knocks it out of the park. There rebust design amazing quality and superior materials always make for great tattoo pens, and this one is no different . I love how you van easily use the rca and foot pedal or throw on a battery pack and go wireless. This machine is very quiet and easy easy to insert needle cartridges into unlike some other similar machines. It has plenty of power for thin lines to the very thickest. I don't really digging this set up at all! It's hard to find something I "like" about it. Usually I'm excited to write a review explaining my experience and how much I enjoyed it. You know that sound where you loose on the price is right?yeah... That sound. It works. It doesn't perform though. It comes with what you need if you are a toddler and wanna practice on fake skin. I would really even tell beginners to aim for a higher set up than this people. I didn't even like it for beginners. Please if your getting into Tattooing and your trying to be serious at all, go a different route. This isn't a winner. Sorry I gave 1 star because it worked and 1 star because it comes with everything needed to tattoo technically. Sorry just being honest and I take my profession seriously so I try and keep it real. Interesting one with the transparent case. It seems to work well, and should be a solid pen to start with. I wish it had a battery as well, so you could use it untethered. The power supply and cord are fine but they are very lightweight and I wonder about their longevity. The main housing is of course plastic whereas many other guns are solid metal, but it is an inexpensive starter and you are getting a lot with the kit. Good way to start. ... show more
