I nearly threw out a great pair of boots because the insole was trashed. Before I did I looked to see if I could buy another pair of the same boot because aside from the insole they were great. To my dismay they don’t sell the same model shoe anymore so I looked into getting a new insole. My boots are 10.5 and these fit perfectly, without even trimming them. The insoles came with a disclaimer about insoles not being for everyone and if they end up not working (ie are uncomfortable) they will refund the purchase. This was comforting on one hand but at the same time put the big in my brain that they may not be comfortable. I couldn’t have been more wrong. This review is after a week of wearing the inserts. I was on the search for a shoe insert to help with my aching feet problem at the end of the day. After replacing my old insert with this one, it definitely made my foot sit higher in the shoe making it feel like my heel is going to slip out as I walk. The arch definitely feels more supportive, but I think my arches are more sore now than they were before. I almost wish it were just a tad softer while also providing support. I will give it a little while longer, and then maybe try a different one. But maybe it’s inevitable that my feet will just be sore after a long day at work at my age. ... show more
