The media could not be loaded. This set comes with everything you need to get started. I'm just in the beginning phases of learning how to tattoo, and I've tried a few different kits now. This kit includes everything you need to get started, including cartridges of different sizes for practice. The power supply is a simple plug-and play, and offers the option for using rotary power as well, and the adjustments and fine-tuning were fairly easy. This is a great way to determine whether you want to work with a corded rotary or external power supply. The gun has an adjustable needle depth, which really helps when you're trying to learn how far to hold the gun to get the right skin depth (1-2 mm). I still don't feel confident working on actual skin, so I'm still just practicing with skins and intermittently shading in some decades-old tattoos. Includes 1 skin in kit with pre-printed designs and 1 blank, and both are the 2mm thickness, which are perfect for learning perfect 1.5mm depth. The kit also includes a wide range of cartridges - round liners, round shaders, and magnums. The included gloves provided a nice germ barrier after I'd sterilized all required skin areas, and the pen bags helped keep the machine clean. This machine was easy to handle and allows for steady handling and an even and consistent depth, and the cartridge needles didn't hurt any more than professional tattoos. The ink was deposited evenly over the old tattoo area and is healing evenly. The skin trauma was no worse than any of the professional tattoos I've ever gotten, and the healing went by without a hitch. Overall, this is a very user-friendly kit for someone who wants to explore tattooing and is an excellent value for the money. Plenty of ink and cartridges to practice many different styles and applications. Very cost-effective if you just want to see if it’s right for you without a substantial investment.

This is perfect For beginners it comes with everything that you would need in order to start tattooing. The only reason I'm giving it at 4 instead of 5 is because it didn't come with blacking witches.In my opinion essential for tattoos. I really like that.It can be cordless that comes in handy and makes it easier to draw all the tattoos. The tattoo prints that it already comes with are a little Unprofessional, looking kind.Looks like a child drew them but you don't have to use those so it's not a big deal. Great gun for beginners.

A fairly remarkable kit, this has a great running tattoo pen, and even comes with a battery pack. It's quiet and smooth, and nicely made. First, let me list what's in the kit, itself: The kit comes with the red tattoo pen, a single good quality battery pack, charging cable, a cable with an RCA jack in case you want to run off an AC power setup, a box of good quality needle cartridge, two packs of ink caps, a single roll of narrow black grip tape, a pair of black latex exam gloves (might be 2 pairs, not sure), 10 small bottles of PRACTICE inks (note the word "practice"), a sheet of blank tattoo practice skin, a sheet of tattoo practice skin with black outlines to follow on one side and blank on the reverse side, a few sheets of tattoo design thermal transfer paper, a couple of dental bibs to cover your work area, and a small instruction manual. About the tattoo pen: While I will admit that the tattoo pen's grip area is not my favorite, the way the pen runs is truly impressive. The battery takes it through it's paces from 5.0v to 12v, and it's smooth and relatively quiet throughout that entire range. I'm impressed. It also features adjustable stroke length. The battery pack is very good, and has 3 button operation ("On/Off", "+", and "-"). The digital LED readout is very easy to read, and quite bright. This is quite a remarkable kit for the price, and would have a place in the hands of someone just starting out, or even someone more advanced. It's really a super value. This pen really is a runner, and if you're comfortable with this type of grip you'll find exceptional value in this kit.
