Very nice tattoo gun for the price. The pen is a good diameter and is pretty lightweight. Battery pack adds quite a bit of weight though, but that also helps stabilize a bit. Pen runs really quiet and smooth. Steady output of power. I really like that this uses a detachable battery with standard RCA jack. This allows you to swap out the batteries, which are pretty standard and easily found. I have several other rotary tattoo pens, the used to primarily use integrated battery. Unfortunately, batter being the first thing that typically gives out, the ability to swap them out is really beneficial. Also, if you run out of juice during mid session, you don't have to pause your work to recharge. If the battery fail, you can replace them easily. Bulk of the value of this package is in the pen and the battery. Very nice that they included blue soap, which I guess is a non-trademarked alternative to green soap. Foaming soap dispenser is also included. All the other accessories are nice to have, but none are spectacular. They are good enough for use, and I am happy to practice with them, but would go to higher quality items for real skin. I really look at this kit as really useful for practice, but am happy to use the pen, battery, and blue soap for actual tattooing of real skin. Great value overall.

The tattoo machine, itself, is well-made and functions smoothly. The battery pack is very convenient, and I like that it's USB-C chargeable and uses an RCA plug. The kit comes complete with all you need to learn or practice your art, including sample skin. I wouldn't use the supplies on a real person, but I'm guessing that's not their intent anyway. The machine, however, could be serviceable for an artist starting out - especially if you buy some spare batteries so you can swap mid-session, if needed. The low price for everything you get makes it an excellent value - especially if you're not 100% sure that this art form is for you. You should, however, find an experienced teacher or a highly recommended textbook if you're learning. There are only super basic info documents in the box.

I ordered the Rhein Tattoo Gun Kit Wireless Rotary Tattoo Machine Pen Kit for my nephew who would like to pursue the art. This kit that provides nearly everything seems a good way to get started instead of buying everything piecemeal. It comes with some basic ink colors, 20 standard cartridges, the pen, battery, and various accessories, in a box. I like the fast C-charging and that the pen displays the energy balance. The battery life is 3-6 hrs which should be ample for the amount of use expected. The booklet of instructions is helpful for the beginner.

This machine was pretty good. The needles were sterilized and they were easy to pop apart from their packs. The needles are sharp and ready to use. The machine itself was easy to adjust and the battery holds a decent charge. The ink was okay and so was the blue soap. Nothing really to write home about but they both worked how they are intended to. The fake skin is thick enough that you could use it front and back, which is nice. All in all this is a good kit for beginners

This pen is comfortable in the hand but with the battery it doesn’t slip get heavy. You get everything you need to get up and running including the ink. This is a nice set for someone interested in picking up tattooing until they are ready to upgrade as skills are refined.

I would rate this setup as "okay", and I would feel safe in saying the kit (as a whole) is better than many I have tried. However, it's not a "premium" item, but then, you're not paying a lot for it. And, for what you do pay you get quite a bit. This kit includes wireless tattoo pen, battery, needle cartridges, a small set of PRACTICE inks, a bottle of blue soap, a soap dispenser bottle, a single pair of black latex exam gloves, a small set of ink caps, a single roll of narrow black grip tape, a set of protective pen bags, and the tattoo pen. The pen has a battery that attaches to the top via RCA plug & jack, and because the battery has a plastic case the balance is not all that bad. However, the pen runs rough throughout it's entire range, from 5.0v to 12.0v. It's also got significant vibration. It has an adjustable stroke out to 3.5mm. Not terrible. There is also a sheet of synthetic practice skin, a pair of thermal design transfer sheets, and a small set of dental bibs, to cover your work area. Really not bad, and even better if you take advantage of the excellent money-saving coupon available right now on the product page. That makes this a good value, and a kit to consider if you're a beginner, or gifting to one.
