The media could not be loaded. I like how thin the plastic part is because it leaves a lip for balancing my machine which gives me straighter lines. The simplicity of being able to “plug and play” is really nice, the needles balance internally, and you get a lot for very little. The only things I knocked off a star for is there were several units mis-labeled/incorrectly packed, and the notches don’t secure as tightly into the machine as other brands I’ve used. ... show more

I've only tested some against old leather to see how they stand up to it. After that I check the tips with one of those 'ear cameras' and havent seen any bending or barbs on the ends. If you use a good ink with it the flow seems pretty decent. The plastic shell is easy to see through so you can monitor the ink as you go along.
