These are thick (heavier than most fleece), soft and fleecy on both sides, do not pill, no pulled threads in the fabric, surprisingly these do not mat or lose lint in washing & drying, and the stitching has held on all seams. And are more than reasonably priced. Nice colors, too. I bought 3 of the 50x70 throws 6 months ago, and have waited to see how they held up before I reviewed them. The (grey) throws I got for my dogs as everyday "beds," so these are well used by claws and washed often to remove dirt and hair. The dogs really like these, even the furry one seeks out this blanket, and the single-coat hound won't lie down without scrunching one into a pile to snuggle into. I use them, or rather, the dogs use them, at home on the couch in the winter, in dog crates, on the car backseat, and in the tent and on any floor when traveling. I have gone through 4 OTHER sets of fleece blankets from various stores for the dogs, most more expensive, and all have had short lives from getting thin, degrading when washed, and the stitching unraveling. But THESE blankets have held up in all those categories. I couldn't be more pleased. I see no point in buying an unwashable thick dog bed, when these work so well and are easy to wash. It's cold where I am now, so I put these on top of sheepskin pieces on the earthen floor for them. I'm about to buy a larger one for myself that I will fold into my sleeping bag when camping in colder weather (I have a Wmart brand one I've used for that purpose, and it's falling apart, so I'm treating myself to one of THESE!). I liked the softness of the blanket and the size. It had a smell to it even after washing it twice. Otherwise I would have kept the blanket. I was very disappointed that I wasn’t able to keep it!

I just came back to buy another so I can swap them out when I'm laundering the original one, and thought I'd leave a review. This blanket has held up really well, not pilled, torn, or lost its softness even with time and regular washing. I recommend it!
