This stand is good quality and comes with various thread adapters. The c part of the clamp is made of plastic while most of the rest of the device is made of metal. I am using it to hold an 8-1/2" x 11" soft light and it does a great job. Use your imagination for many other uses. My only complaint is that when I received the item it had a terrible odor to it. It smelled as if it had been stored in a flooded basement. I had to clean and disinfect it before I could do anything with it. ... show more

This light stand works great with my Aputure Amaran AL-F7. It is light weight and well made. It feels sturdy enough to hold heavier devices such as mirrorless cameras. The picture shows it holding a DSLR and I do believe it can hold this, however, I would be careful if using this at max extension to hold a heavy DSLR with a bulky lens.
