  • Seeing great temperatures
I paired this with a Ryzen 5800X3D&Rog Strix X570-E Gaming Wifi II, inside a Thermaltake View 51 TG Argb. It replaced the NZXT Kraken X63 I had originally bought which only fit properly installed in the pull configuration. The EK fits wonderfully inside the case the slimmer radiator allows it to install in the proper push pull configuration. As I sit here typing this it's 77 degrees f or 25c inside the house the EK reports the cpu as 30c idle. I confirmed as well with Aida 64 at a fluctuating 29-30c. The cpu diode and package temps are both at 36c which is also great. It keeps temps down during gaming sessions and under load. Fans are quieter than the stock case fans even under load which is also great. The hoses are long enough to go over the top of the memory instead of draping across the memory. That is great for both the overall look and the ability to remove them if need be without issue. No issue with the bios controlling the d-argb. So far I'm very pleased with the look and function of the EK AIO Elite. ... show more

  • This thing dropped my max load temps by 40c, gaming is now 40-50c per core.
I talked to some people from EK and owners from the EK discord, I was told this performs similar to the 280 dollar EK-Classic Kit S360 D-RGB - Black Nickel Edition. I didn't believe it at first was thinking oh this is just an AIO. I could not had been more wrong, then also reading it out performs the top air cooler, My temps were hitting 70c in gaming 80-100c while in 3DMark. I idle around 23-34c per core now, gaming 43-56c, full load benching 58-67c, and that is with stock thermal compound. Look at the specs nothing is close to its pump on the market save lian li's and I think they leased its design and messed it up modifying it. The rad is copper. This EK AIO Elite 360mm D-RGB is second to none, gives close to a 280 dollar Classic liquid cooling kit for only 199 on an AIO. Honestly this is the only none asetek or coolit designed AIO on the market and it mops the floor with everything they offer. Just get it! This is a pure quality product and unrivaled performance in an AIO. Just get it! ... show more

  • Zero stars if I could
Just had this 360 AIO fail on me punp top this is the 4th unit to fail. 2 DOAs 1 failed within a few days of use, a 280 that would run until you mounted the pump top on a cpu then it would fail. The punps and something to do with the pressure as they are mounted cause the pump to warp thus the impeller jambs. Sadly I have 4 others of these in various computers amt. SADLY EKWB is imploding at the highest levels from bad management and terrible employee treatment. All of this not withstanding BUY anything else do not touch anything from EKWB and stay away from the AIOS. Im out about a2grand on this least a corsair even with the crap asutek junk and patents it would still be working. I have been using AIOs since they came out way back in 08-10 and only one outside of these EK units has died and that was cause the liquid evaporated out of the tubes after 12 yrs. of running on a server non stop, except for power outtages and a few upgrades. GO buy an artic it might be ugly and might be a PITA with the hoses but least it will work. Hopefully I am not out a mobo or cpu as I caught this within min of it failing or least going overtemp. 99c. ... show more

  • Great and beautiful cooler with some room for improvement
This aio right out of the box is premium quality. The waterblock itself is made of solid machined metals with a very nice finish you’ll notice right of the bat. So It does have a bit of weight to it compared to others on the market. Not necessarily a bad thing in my opinion but everyone has different opinions so keep that in mind. Fittings on the aio are also metal and appears to be screwed on so they are probably removable just like any other ek products are. The tubing is nice and sturdy looking and feels great. It does have a bit more stiffness to it compared to my other cooler. It is recommended to read the manual to install this aio because it has a unique mounting system compared to traditional brackets. Little bit different standoffs as well for both amd and intel. So you might need to change your intel backplate to use this cooler depending on the model of intel you have. Am4 uses the traditional backplate. The manual goes into easy to understand steps with pictures to help you with installation which is pretty nice. Everything about this product screams quality. My previous cooler was a kraken z73 360mm. Watching my temps compared to the other cooler I have been seeing a 5-10 degree difference so it definitely cools better and is way quieter than the kraken. Comes with 6 ek vardar rgb fans compatible with major motherboard lighting softwares such as mystic light, fusion rgb, and asus aura along with the rgb ek logo on the block. Should sync up with your rgb header perfectly. Reason it comes with 6 fans is for a push pull configuration if your case supports it. If not, well you got some extra rgb fans to throw in your case elsewhere or not use them at all if you wish. Killer deal if you ask me because they are great fans. Also comes with a fan/rgb hub for the fans and rgb to make it more convenient for you and keep your cables a little bit neater in your case. Very thoughtful of them. The aio also compared to others on the market has a refill cap on the radiator to refill it with water later down the line saving you some money in the long run. Other manufacturers don’t have that and basically forces you to buy a new one. Keep in mind that removing the radiator cap will void your warranty brand new so don’t do it unless needed. What’s also nice is the block comes with pre applied thermal paste and even a small tube of extra thermal paste for replacement later down the line. Also comes with extra hardware in case you loose a screw or two and some extra cables that look like extensions. So overall it’s a solid product so far. Now for the things I didn’t like that I’d like to see ek improve on. Depending on your ram, clearance might be an issue because of the fittings on the water block. I was running 64gb of rgb trident z neo 3600 mhz ram. I had to downgrade to 32gb because the 4th stick wouldn’t clear the fitting closest to the ram because of its cylinder shape. So unless you got high clearance ram, it will be an issue. Ek could have prevented that putting a flat clearance slot on the waterblock fitting closet to the ram. Now the only way around that would to rotate the block 180 degrees which would put your tubes in the other side of the ram. Which leads me to my other issue. It appears they designed the block to have the fittings next to the ram with the radiator tubes coming down the right side of your case instead of the left. I tried the left and the tubes are a bit too long for it to look good and if your ocd like me, the logo being upside down or facing the opposite way than it should be just bothers me. Ek could improve that maybe offering a left and right side variation, maybe little bit shorter tubes, and maybe do what other manufacturers do with a rotatable block to keep the logo where it should be. They could do a rotatable logo maybe too if the whole block rotation won’t work. Another thing I noticed is the fans don’t have rubber vibration dampers. You have to buy those separately from Amazon or ekwbs site which I think it’s kinda annoying as well. Didn’t really affect me all that much though because I have be quiet fans in my case. With those minor nitpicks aside, it’s a solid beautiful product, just needs a little bit more improvement to be perfect. Overall I’m happy with it and the compromise of having 2 ram sticks instead of 4 doesn’t affect me all that much. 32gb of ram is plenty for gaming. 64 might be a bit overkill for gaming but hey it looks good lol. Overall, I’d recommend this cooler for someone looking for a high quality cooler. ... show more

  • A+++ 🔥🙏🏽🙌🏾
EK knocked this one out of the park. Phenomenal build quality, high quality nickel finished pump/block, 6 RGB daisy chain fans, and a fan hub. Can’t beat it, my undervolted AMD Ryzen 5800x3d doesn’t break 78C during peak operation. Beware, the cable management can be quite intimidating. GamersNexus did a great review on this product (non rgb version) but it covers a ton of great info. 5/5 would recommend. ... show more
