The bottom is also anti-skid, making it completely slip-free! It’s virtually immovable when pushed with flat force; one needs to lift it entirely to move it. So, completely slip-proof! Odor: There’s a slight printing odor, but it’s gone after leaving it for about 2 days. If someone is sensitive about the smell, placing it in sunlight after unpacking might help. This is a very small sized anti fatigue mat. I think this is perfect for use in a very small or tight area - we used it specifically for the small sink in our kitchen where there is not much space and we wont be moving around a lot. The rug was a nice thickness but it was shipped rolled up in the tight vacuum kind of packing. I've allowed 24 hours and stood on it several times and the wrinkles have not decreased in the slightest. It's so unattractive like this that at best I will use it in the laundry room. This is a great kitchen mat for long times spent standing washing dishes or cooking. The design and colors are very nice, it's plenty comfortable, and doesn't slide around at all. Highly recommended, especially for the cost.

I got this because my wife mentioned that we needed a new rug by the sink. Always eager to earn points, I immediately found this. It really is comfortable to stand on. We have the 0.47 inch thick version. It’s well made and lays flat. Unfortunately, I goofed. It never occurred to me that being waterproof rendered it useless for being placed near the kitchen sink. Splashed water isn’t absorbed and makes the mat slippery. My error. Great mat, though. Just not for use by sinks or anywhere where it might be splashed with water... Jerry ... show more
