I needed a 1 ohm 12.6v amp for my car subwoofers I'm using in the house. All the other amps on here was only giving me numbers for a 14.4v cars electrical system, which stands to reason, it is a car amp. But then I was reading the specs on this amp and it was exactly what I was looking for, right down to the 1200 watts @ 12.6v. The only thing now, I'm going to have to upgrade my dc power supply, it's only 50 amps, and this pulls 60 amps for max musical consumption, so I'm going with the 100 amp version. But when I put this on my subs I could hear a response from all of them, all the way down to my 6.5 inch subwoofers. So if you need 1200 watts @12.6v, then this is it. ... show more

This little amp has some power, if you need to power subs and have little space this is the amp for you. I've used it in 3 builds so far and hasn't disappointed yet. They're a little hard to tune but keep in mind that its a budget amp. Over all its a good buy, also give they're 4 channel amps a try I've used them too. ... show more

I thought the crossover only going down to 80hz would be a problem but it sounded great . I went ahead and bought an active crossover for it anyways just to see what's up and it's hitting low bass good but it did almost as good without it . I got it on 2 AUDIOPIPE BD2 12s and it's beating my car to pieces. POWER POWER POWER !!! I don't know what is going on with these people leaving bad reviews on this amp either they just got a defected one or they don't know what they are doing I'm no professional not even just for the price but in general this is a really really good amp . If you’re running the dual Kicker Solo L7R’s that are only rated for 600 rms a piece this isn’t the amp for you.. No way this is even pushing close to “1200 rms”.. I have these wired down to 1 ohm and you can’t even get 25 percent without clipping.. Let’s be real here.. Some of these comments definitely can’t be real.. Or you’re using pure junk and ears are out of tune.. I only leave real reviews and this amp is definitely a disappointment to me. Tuned everything and still not even pushing these how a true 1200 rms amp would. I knew better and should have just went with the matching kicker amp. Seen this and gave it a try.. Not up to my standards at all. Little amp little power.. If that’s what you’re looking for then this is for you. If you’re looking for more kick in your subs with that deep knock better keep moving. Terrible amp for my needs, and it’s a huge let down after waiting for it to come in… ... show more

    • Powerful but versatile

I like that it cab be used as a subwoofer amp and I can power all my interior speakers. I mainly use it to power one 12 inch sub. It does just that. Sound quality is good but not great. But it power my sub so I don't really need too much clarity.
