The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this black trench coat. It’s very flattering on the figure, and I think it would look great on a lot of different body shapes. One of my biggest concerns when buying coats is the fit in the shoulders, bust, and sleeves, I have broader shoulders and a fuller bust, and sleeves are often too short on me. That was not an issue at all with this coat. The sleeves are roomy and a great length, which makes a huge difference. The deep pockets are another standout feature. They’re very spacious, so you don’t have to worry about anything falling out, and they’re perfect for keeping your hands warm. I also love the hood it’s a really nice size, fully covers your head, and actually looks good on the jacket. It doesn’t feel awkward or oversized; it fits the style of the coat perfectly. The coat is the perfect weight, not too hot and not too cold. I tested it outside in temperatures under 30 degrees, wearing a light jacket underneath, and I didn’t feel cold at all. I was especially happy that I could comfortably layer underneath, since I plan to wear this coat over a sweater dress for an upcoming event. I went back and forth about buying online versus in person, but I’m so glad I took the chance. I ordered an extra large, and it fits perfectly—not too big, not too small. I’m really happy with this pea coat. It’s true to size — I’m a true medium and the medium fits me perfectly, with enough room for a thicker sweater underneath. I’m 5’-4” and the sleeves were a good length and the hem hit mid-thigh. The fit is flattering with a nice silhouette. You can throw it on over anything and instantly look put together, whether it’s jeans or something a little dressier. One of my favorite features is the button closure. Unlike coats with a zipper where you’re reaching down to find the two ends, fumbling around trying to line them up and thread one side through, this one buttons up pretty quickly and easily, with its nice large buttons. It also has functional pockets (always a must), and the hood is generously sized — perfect if you’re someone like me who likes a large hood that gives real coverage and looks flattering on! The coat has a nice weight to it, feels well made, and is lined on the inside, which adds to the overall quality and structure. The only downside is that it can be a magnet for lint and dust, so you might want to keep a lint roller handy, since the lint can really stick. That said, for the price, it’s a great value. I didn’t get to truly test how warm it keeps you since the temperature never dropped below 55°, but the coat is quite thick and has a nice weight to it. The cutest coat! So warm and keeps me dry in the PNW! Fits great, inside is super soft and the pockets are deep and keep things safe. Only downside is that the material catches all of my dogs hair and is very difficult to remove. Cannot machine wash or dry clean, so difficult to care for.

However, the biggest downside is the care instructions. It’s not machine washable or dry-clean, it's only hand wash and hang dry. Because of how thick it is, i worry it will take days to dry. I'm so happy I made this purchase. I love all the details, the belt in the back, the button detail on the hood and the curved pockets. I am 5'1" and 135 lbs. The medium fits loose enough to be able to wear a winter sweater with it. I love the length. Obviously if you are taller, it will probably only come to your knees. I think it will be ideal for groceries and errands. It does have 10% wool but I won't plan on it for extensive time outside. The material is very soft and I think it is a reasonable price for a cold weather coat. As a side note, maybe I have short arms, but the sleeves had to be shortened. ... show more
