I usually wear size 8/10 or Medium. *I bought this coat in size LARGE*. It allows me to wear a warmer layer underneath. I’m 5’7” with long legs and it comes to about mid-thigh. The SLEEVES are a perfect length and full-coverage for my very long arms. The HOOD 🧡 is dreamy and blocks the wind. You can wear it 2 different ways: fully unfolded for more coverage; then I fold back the top when crossing the street. This allows for better peripheral vision. It’s a thoughtful option for city commuters like me. I bought this coat in December 2024 and am writing this review in March 2025. I wasn’t sure about it at first … but decided to change out all 14 buttons and now I’m very happy with this coat. (I wear beige, white or colourful accessories and the black buttons didn’t flow for me. Replaced them myself with same size, 25mm buttons ($10 for a pack of 20 on Amazon). I wore this coat on a sunny day last week with a warm sweater + a thinner tank top hen it was -8°Celsius = 18°F, and didn’t feel cold while out for a walk. This coat is only 10% wool but it’s been a tough winter and I’m tired of wearing my longer coats, so I took a chance and wore this one on a colder day and did well. Looked great with camel-colour knee boots and leggings. Also very nice with running shoes. It’s definitely better in milder temps, warmer than -3°C and will be good for late autumn, early winter and almost-spring.

I hate buying clothes on line....with all the trying on, returns and refunds which leaves your money in Amazon limbo until you can get your mitts back on it, I thought I was gonna have to spend major bucks to find a bloody coat that was double breasted AND have long enough sleeves. I am a little on the heavy side...not much, but enough to not take for granted I'm gonna look good an everything I like, so I initially bought an XXL.....GAK! Way too big and the sleeves were for the "Abdominal Snowman" (spelling wrong on purpose).....so I sent it back and wanted to take a chance on an XL, and it was absolutely perfect. I am one of those women that has NEVER enjoyed going out and trying clothes on.....the lighting in those stores alone makes you feel like you should audition for a horror flick. But for ONCE I finally got what I was looking for. Us heavier girls with rounded shoulders kinda need the double breasted look and I've always had trouble with the length in arms. I thought I was gonna have to buy an Anne Klein that was "ok" but thank god I didn't have to and what I got was MUCH cheaper as well....so I am pleased as punch....pleased enough that I'm buying a hat to go with it! I am hard to please, so take my word for it.....if you're a little on the heavy side (I am 66 and not yet ready to start dressing like an old lady with the big gawdy flowers and make like Aunt Bea from Andy Griffith), this is a nice middle of the road coat. Very warm and you can dress it up or dress it down.....as we all know, accessories make the outfit, and I'm taking full advantage of THAT! Well folks, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

This winter coat is absolutely perfect. I cannot stop gushing with how happy I am with it. I received it today and was expecting the shoulder/arm area to be too tight, because that often happens. The cut is absolutely perfect! I'm 5'5 and 150 pounds. The bust area, the length, the pockets, the hat (oh so cute!) fits perfectly! I can button it and it is not tight across my back. I just adore the cut and the style. It is evening or I'd get a picture. I will be looking to see what other items Tanming makes/sells because I am very happy with this purchase.

This coat is adorable and looks really polished, but it’s definitely more stylish than practical. It’s fine for mild winter days or layering, but I wouldn’t count on it for super cold weather. Still, it fits well and looks great—just don’t skip the sweater underneath

I love the details on this coat from the hood to the hem. The pockets are nice and roomy, making it easy to dig around for keys with gloves on. The color (olive green) is great and the fabric is super soft. Typically I wear a 14 or Large in tops and dresses, but I ordered an XL based on previous experiences with Amazon jackets and coats. It wasn't necessary, I think the large would have been fine. As it is, the XL isn't outlandishly big and of course it's the season for cozy layered sweaters anyway. At 5'4", I find the sleeves just a hair long, but it would be worth is to me to have them taken up as I love everything else about the coat.

At first I ordered a large which is my usual size. It was too small in the hips so I returned it which was very easy to do. Just follow the instructions and box it up and take it to a UPS store. Free shipping as long as you box it. They print the label and that’s it. So then I ordered an XL and it fit exactly as I wanted it to. I live in the New Orleans area and our winters aren’t very cold. But we actually had temps in the low 40’s. When it is cold here, it’s a damp cold so we dress in layers. A good test to try my new coat. I had a turtle neck and a sweatshirt under my coat. It kept me warm and kept the dampness out! I love my new coat. I recommend this coat. You won’t be disappointed.
