The skirt was so large on my granddaughter when she tried it on that my daughter said she'd just save it until my granddaughter was old enough for it ro fit. Then I remembered that one of the reviews I had read mentioned a mechanism in the skirt for adjusting the waist, so I looked and sure enough, there is a strip on either side of the back inside that has about 10 positions for adjusting, and it now fits perfectly with all that room for growth. My child is attending a school that requires uniforms. I had seen a French Toast skirt at Academy, but they seemed to only have one and it was the wrong size. I was pleased to find more options on Amazon and the quality seems excellent for the price. My child is currently between size 3 and 4, so I ordered these in 4.
