Perfect for small applications! Plug and play functionality works great and was a perfect value for the money. Currently using it as a back up and supplemental heater for hot tub and it's working very well. The heat transfer is superb for small pools.

These heaters do not have any type of safety system on them whatsoever. The directions show one that has a light to let you know it’s on, these do not have that. I got two and neither one of the thermostats worked properly. You’re not supposed to put your hand in the water while it’s plugged in so you can’t check the water temperature without unplugging it. ... show more

Where I live, it's kind of like camping out but never going home in lots of ways. We have loss of power more frequently for one thing. And recently my sons decided to re-think how my power usage could be improved so my light bill wouldn't be so high, That included switching my water heater over to a propane "on demand" water heater but sometimes that hasn't worked right and hasn't given me a hot water supply in the kitchen, so this item has saved the day. My daughter had one for awhile in the past and suggested this one. It's fast and reliable, provided the power isn't out. One of my sons and my grandson are electricians and own an electric company so if the power does go out, they can bring me a generator and I can still use either the propane water heater or this one. ... show more

I got the heated water wand thing, and it’s been awesome for quickly heating water! The LCD thermometer makes it easy to monitor the temperature, and the heater heats up to 5 gallons of water in just a few minutes, which is great for a quick bath or for filling up the pool. It’s portable, so it’s easy to use anywhere, whether in a bucket or bathtub. The 2500W power is strong enough to get the water nice and warm, and it’s been perfect for those colder days when I need some fast comfort.
