Small unit. But heats water very fast. Hot water in 5 seconds from tap. Perfect under a sink which is far away from the main house water heater less waster water. At 110 volts instructions say to use a 30 amp circuit. I don’t understand that this unit has a standard cord and plug on it. 30 amp circuit is a clothing dryer circuit. Which uses a 30 amp plug and cord. There is no way to change the cord and plug for 30 amps. Along with number 10 AWG cable. How would you attach number 10 cable to a standard receptacle rated for number 12 cable maximum 20 amp. I use this on a 20 amp dedicated circuit and have no trouble from that. It works just fine on a dedicated 20 amp circuit with number 12 AWG cable. Finally it is a perfect unit for a sink for hand washing or face washing. I am happy with the purchase. I installed myself and all went good until after 15 iminutes running the hottest it got was 80* in Arizona. That’s not hot enough to shower in!!! wasted $50.00, time and effort for nothing!! Please look elsewhere!!

I added this to my kitchen sink, because the kitchen is far away from the house water heater and it takes a good 3-5 minutes to get the hot water through all the pipes to the sink. It is winter and the water (and pipes) are very cold. When I start the water, the temp is 65 degrees. Within 3-5 seconds it shows mid-90s. It never makes it to 100 degrees, but that is ok. At least warm water is coming out immediately, instead of freezing cold. Once the hot water arrives from the main heater, it goes to 125 degrees. For $45, this did exactly what I wanted - it eliminated the cold water for that first 3 minutes and no more wasting water. BTW - I have it at full-flow. I can have HOT water come out immediately, if i reduce the flow rate. It does the job. If this is your only source of heating the water, you will have to go to a slower flow rate to get instant hot water. Installation was very easy - 15 min from start to hot water. ... show more
