  • Only Partially Feasible For USA Houses
Color: White
This heater will only run on 120V, not 240V. As such, all current in-home wiring will either be rated for 15A (14 AWG) or 20A (12 AWG), neither of which will safely run 32A as required for full heat operation. If you have the luxury of having unfinished space and can easily run 10 AWG cable to where this water heater is intended to be, and your electrical panel will accept a single pole 120V 40A breaker, then bully for you. My home is completely finished, so I had no such option. As such, I was relegated to using a standard 20A circuit that was already in the island under the kitchen faucet. I tried to run it at full heat and it tripped the breaker. I tried at 120, then 110. Both failed. I finally succeeded at 100 degrees F. I have a 2 Gallon hot water tank under the other kitchen sink and that works great. In a word, this one is meh. It gives me warm water till the hot water makes it up from the basement. Go with the tank heaters and you'll be happy. ... show more

  • A great little heater that needs wiring most homes do not have
Color: White
I agree with a few of the other reviewers that note that this unit requires a very heavy duty 10 gauge wire to maximize its use. As our home is 20 years old, no such wire exist. Our only hope was to do as others have done and set lower temperatures, which at least makes the water somewhat comfortable until the real hot water arrives. I had considered trying to run a 10 gauge wire through the attic and down through the wall, but the price and complexity of that operation dissuaded me. I was able to get 110° out of my existing wiring, but a breaker would trip if I had to depend on this heater for more than about one minute. To avoid the hassle, I was relegated to 100°. That’s still better than the 60-70° water that commonly comes through before the blast of heat. As the advertisement for this item is wholly truthful and does not disguise the fact that higher amperage capable wiring is required, I will not deduct any stars. Overall, I’m fairly happy with the net result, and the footprint of this unit is quite small compared to heaters with tanks. I do recommend this unit, with the caveat that common household wiring will not get you truly hot water. ... show more

  • Doesn't get very hot.
Color: White
Eh, I kinda wish I'd just kept my 5-gallon heater in there; it got the water much hotter and when am I going to need more than 5 gallons of hot water at a time anyway?? I took that one out to put this one in. I somewhat regret that decision. Luckily it won't be too difficult to take this one out and return to my initial configuration. My biggest grip is the temperature; I was only able to get it barely past 100 F. That's not hot, especially since I like my hot water steaming hot. So, for me, not worth the money, not worth the effort installing it. And if you have to run a 110 line just to install this thing, forget it. ... show more

  • Works well!
I am very pleased with this water heater. It is a small piece of equipment for a small setup but it makes a big impact. It was fairly easy to install and works well. This is definitely a viable option to ensure hot water for your small space! I definitely recommend!

  • Great appliance
This is quality heater. The temperature heats up fairly quickly. It's easy to mount and hook up. It has not had any leaks yet and is overall functional and great experience.

  • Bad design
Size of the product is smaller than expected. Seems too small for a water heater. That is probably the reason why it takes so much power draw (5.5kW) to quickly heat up the water. This requires a dedicated line to your electric panel. At 5.5kW, a better alternative would be a 220V to reduce the wire gauge and circuit breaker size. Definitely not practical. Will cost you more in running a new line. If you do not want to run a dedicated line and have a 110V outlet nearby, you may want to consider an electric heater with a mini tank. That is way less headache than running a dedicated line to your electric panel/subpanel. Needless to say, I returned the item. ... show more

  • Convenient Instant Hot Water—With Some Setup Challenges
Color: White
This tankless water heater delivers on its promise of instant hot water, making showers and sinks more convenient. The sleek design, remote control, and LCD touchscreen add a modern touch, while the self-modulating feature helps prevent scalding. However, installation isn’t as simple as plugging it in. It requires a dedicated electrical line and may need professional installation to avoid tripping breakers. While great for small spaces like RVs or guest houses, it may not be practical for a full household setup. If you're prepared for the setup requirements, it’s a solid choice for on-demand hot water. ... show more
