  • The Day I Got My Sink Back
Color: Black
For the longest time, using my kitchen sink felt like a test of patience. I would turn the handle, then stand there waiting… and waiting… and waiting. By the time the water finally got warm, I had already lost my motivation to wash anything. I got this tankless water heater hoping it would help, but I did not expect such a big difference. The first time I turned on the faucet after installing it, I braced myself for the usual delay. Instead, warm water came almost immediately. I actually stood there for a second in disbelief, just enjoying the simple luxury of not having to wait. Now washing dishes is faster and honestly less frustrating. The temperature is easy to adjust, and I like seeing the exact number on the display. It is compact and does not take up much space, which makes it perfect for a small sink setup. It has been reliable, consistent, and efficient. It is one of those small upgrades that quietly improves your daily routine in a way you do not fully appreciate until you experience it. ... show more

  • Don't buy this
Color: White
Sucks! Do not buy this. The threads were not machined precisely and it has a 32 amp draw. When most switches are standard 20 amp or 15 for that matter. This is not good for household application.

  • Instant Hot water and easy to install!
Color: White
This small tank less water heater was just what I needed for my second bathroom. The water took awhile to get hot as it's the furthest from my main tank. This was easy to install and I just had to plug it into the outlet to have instant hot water! No more waiting 5 minutes for the hot water to arrive. It was Instantly Hot!! Very impressed and very easy to install! This would also be perfect for campers or RVs in the shower or sink! I definitely recommend! ... show more

  • Major safety concern
Color: Red
I received this tankless water heater and went to install it. I followed the directions and I was shocked by what the instructions say is required. It claims you need a breaker that is rated at over 30 amps while the plug is a standard 110 outlet style. Things to know: A standard home in the US has mostly 15 amp outlets that use 12 or 14 gauge wire that is rated to 20 and 15 amps respectively. Some outlets are on a 20 amp breaker and require the larger 12 gauge wire (think kitchen, microwave, maybe bathroom) to accomodate appliances or expected higher amp draws. In order to install a 30+ amp breaker, you need to make sure the wiring can handle it. The whole purpose of a breaker is to cut off the power before the wire fails. If the breaker can operate at a higher amp than the wire, you risk a fire. Furthermore, there is not a standard three prong outlet in the US that is rated at over 20 amps. You need to get a different style of outlet. In order to complete the install like the instructions say and not risk a fire, you need to install like an RV style outlet or Dryer outlet that is rated for it and then use an adapter to change it down to a standard plug. The instructions clearly ask you to do something that isn't safe so for that reason, I am marking it down. Now, if you don't follow the instructions and just plug this in to a 15 amp outlet, it doesn't seem to trip the breaker (at least not yet). To be clear, this is completely safe to do as you're not modifying the safety mechanism that is already in place in your house (and that is the standard 15 or 20 amp breaker). The install is pretty easy otherwise and it does increase the water temperature. The quality seems ok for the price. You won't be happy if you are relying on this for your hot water. You will be happy if you are using this to get you hotter water while you wait on the water from the hot water heater to reach where you installed this. I can't stress enough however to NOT install a larger breaker. If you want to do that, it requires you to also run new 10 gauge wires. If you're not also replacing the wires, do not replace the breaker! ... show more

  • Compact
Color: White
Was hoping to use this for a portable camping shower, but didn't notice until I got it the required 32amps. I tried it out on a 20amp circuit for a brief period of time and it did get the water hot, but not sure that it wouldn't blow a breaker with normal use. Also doubt I would have access to a 20 amp or larger circuit while camping unless at an RV hookup sight. Nice and compact size and easy to install and use. Not sure of energy efficiency as it does need a lot of power to run. ... show more

  • Unsafe Per It's Spec.s...
Color: White
When I saw this I assumed that the rated wattage was a typo or that the image was not accurate, but I was mistaken. This heater states that it is rated for 3000 watts and still comes with an Edison plug, which is only rated for at most 2400 watts. Additionally, it instructs the buyer to just "replace the breaker" to meet it's needs. The problem with that is that the breaker is there to prevent the dangers associated with overloading the wire in the wall, the outlet and the cable into the water heater. In the manufacturer's plan, I assume most folks will end up with a dangerous situation. So, given that the heater is unsafe on it's own specifications sheet, we did not test it further. We live off grid and so we make all our own power, and this would risk damaging an inverter as well as maybe starting a fire. Now, I assume that since it heats up fast (it says 3 seconds) that it draws all the power for just the ramp-up to temperature phase, but without a connector that is made for that and, say for instance, a 220V outlet where it could use the existing wires and outlet in the house and keeping both legs below 20 amps. But, as I said my assumption that there was a typo or maybe the wrong image was not accurate, so I would not install this and if I had, I would remove it immediately, for safety sake. I think this is likely to be unsafe without professional modification and a outlet that is wired to the panel with 10 gauge cable. Additionally it would need a new, bigger plug and wire as well as thoroughly inspecting the inside for similarly unsafe wiring decisions. In my opinion this in neither worth the effort nor nor the cost, as these issues may indicate a design philosophy that makes other, unseen risks a lot more likely. ... show more
