    • Great Product
Size: 8.4 GPM (No WiFi)
I love the design and feasibility of this product. It was nice that it only takes 120V. And the instructions were very very helpful for installing. Performance of this heater has been great so far after 4 months. I’m able to run a couple showers and the dishwasher and a couple of sinks. The water pressure does drop a little bit as that is a lot of load for hot water, but this heater works great for our needs, as that load is not a normal lineup we do. Our home is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath. Our electric bill also dropped about 75% and the gas bill did not go up that much due to the efficiency of this product. ... show more

    • There is a small trade-off.
Size: 8.4 GPM (No WiFi)
It takes a little longer to warm up than our tank type. But, once it gets there it is never ending. Great for us who like half hour showers. Overall, it is a great improvement to our home.

    • Great water heater.
Size: 8.4 GPM (No WiFi)
Performs exactly as described. Our bedroom shares a wall with the garage where the water heater is installed so was concerned about noise but have not heard a thing. Kitchen is 50+ feet away and the water there heats up faster than the tank heater it replaced. I am thinking some of the other concerns that were posted may be due to poor installation? Not sure but very, very happy with this unit. ... show more

    • 6 years old and still works great
Size: 8.4 GPM (No WiFi)
My instant hot water heater has been hooked up and running for about 5-6 years now. Works great. I have had no issue with it. I winterize every winter and then it fires right back up in the spring.

    • Excellent Product

I love this unit. Installed it myself though wouldn't recommend someone do that if they don't have a reasonable amount of experience. Remember to clean the filter based on usage. If I had it to buy over again, I'd get get one with the next level of output.

    • Wish I could give it a negative 5 stars…
Size: 8.4 GPM (No WiFi)
If I could give it a zero start I would. It’s been 18 months since I installed this unit and here’s my personal opinion. I will never suggest buying a tankless heater unless you have a backup at your property. This Rheem unit failed with light use at18 months old, warranty and product support from Rheem was poor. I registered this unit when purchased but when I called about the warranty they told me someone at a different address owned it. Took 2 days, 3 emails and a half dozen phone calls (2 of which I was on hold for over an hour when the tech said I’ll be right back), at this point I am finally speaking to a tech troubleshooting. After some time and troubleshooting they told me I needed a new igniter and flame rod, I would get it in 3-5 days. Another 24 hours and I get another email saying they don’t have a part and call them. After calling them they tell me to find it on my own and they will reimburse me (thier price not what I can find). So at this point I only found one on eBay today (no hot water for 3 days. Which will take a week to get here if it is actually in stock. But I’ll digress. I don’t believe this is the fix either. They said it was the flame rod, but There is no flame, so how can it be the flame rod. It only does its job if there is a flame. After the holiday I will go buy a hot water tank, and install it. These manufacturers selling us junk these days it’s a shame. ... show more
