and if they worked In short these products will likely need you to hire a plumber and an electrician for them to work properly for you if they will at all. This models best use would probably be for say a utility sink to wash your hands or get some small quantities of warm water. NOTE: I am in no way endorsing the safety or long term reliability of this product. I am just testing it to see it's basic capabilities Part of the problem is the way these are listed and or marketed. The description title calls it a tankless hot water heater, maybe in a sense they are for one area of a house but it is certainly not for a whole house. This particular model is larger than many of the others and can produce more hot water but has higher electricity requirements. These are more of a on demand type system. For instance I've got a huge run in my house say 30 feet and it can take several minutes for the cold water to run through that, then it needs to heat up those pipes before it starts to feel warm to the touch. This can turn on fairly quickly and until the water from the heater reaches it and can also keep it at a nice steady temperature the whole time. This model is larger than several of the others and makes it a poor candidate for an under the sink on demand for small cabinets. Another problem is that these come with a standard US 120V plug. Most of them should not come with this. Most home circuits are 15 amps, they use this plug. They can handle roughly 1500 watts There's also 20 amps home circuits that can use this same plug. There's also several specialized plugs they can use as well though that are different. Generally they can handle 2000 watts before tripping Lasting there's 30 circuits These are dedicated circuits for larger appliance like hot water tanks, dryers so on. They handle roughly 3000 watts This model is rated at 3000 watts~ 30 amps It should not have this plug. 30 Amp circuits use their own plugs and there's several different ones. I'm going to test this on various circuits over time to prove my point. I was thinking it may work on a dedicated 20 amp line but it may not. Phase 1 6/25/2024 Plugged into a 15 AMP circuit, ran for around thirty seconds before tripping the breaker. Remote and display worked good. Produced roughly a 40 degree F rise in temperature from 60 to 100. Line is a dedicated bathroom GFCI with some LED lights after, say 60 watts max ... show more

I have been asking for something like every Mother's day ever since my daughter was an infant, and finally got it for myself. Waiting 10 minutes (literally) for hot water is a lot of waste!
