I am SO impressed with this gorgeous trench! First let me say, yes, it needs to be steamed out of the package. I was so excited to try it on that I hadn’t when I took this photo, but it’s vacuum packed, so it’s a bit wrinkled right out of the packaging. With that being said, as soon as I opened it up and pulled it out I KNEW it was going to be a good one! It is completely lined on the inside. It’s the perfect mid-calf length. Also, the construction is just really beautiful. The trench looks 10 times more expensive than it is, with its puff sleeve that makes it unique, the vented back panel detail of a traditional trench, the flap in the front, and even the belt loops that are crossed at the back! It really could be mistaken for a designer piece. The oversized collar and lapels add to the chicness of this jacket! I ordered my regular size medium and it fits great. Plenty of room for a chunky sweater underneath, but also has a nice not-too-oversized look with something thinner underneath. Honestly, sometimes you just get lucky with a really good Amazon find and this is one of them!!

It will be welcome outdoor apparel when cooler winds blow. It is roomy enough to wear a sweater underneath for extra warmth. The weave looks like it is tight enough to provide water repellency. Both the exterior and interior lining are polyester with a somewhat soft and slippery feel. The coat’s great looks are mostly due to the puffed sleeves that are tapered at the two buttons wrist closure. Some of the trimmings that are for show are epaulettes, a gun flap and the single back-vent with a button closure, as well as the second column of buttons on the front. All of these details make this look like a true trench coat, even if they provide little to no functionality. The length hangs down to mid-thigh on my 5’- 4” frame. The stitching appears to be well done. This is a good-looking coat that offers a nice length when wearing skirts or dresses. I am not enamoured with it having to be hand washed and hung to dry. But at least it can be ironed, if need be. The description reads that there is a metal buckle on the belt; there is no buckle.

This is a great classic raincoat. It’s double breasted and has all the details I would expect from a trench coat style. The coat is constructed from a light to medium weight material with a lightweight lining. It will be great for spring and fall days when I need to look pulled together and professional for work. The updated sleeve makes it feel current and on trend and I am such a fan of the color. The sashed belt is long enough and I’m happy there’s no metal clasp. It just feels clean and fresh and although I’d rather skip the rainy days, at least I’ll look stylish while I brave them.

This review is for the Tankaneo Woman’s Long Trench Coat which I got because I have alway wanted one. This one in particular seems nice albeit thin, definitely not something to worn for warmth but maybe in the rain (which we don’t get much of in Southern California). However I’m sure I’ll find some time to wear it. The coat itself is nice with smooth material that has the standard rain protected feel with buttons up the front and a belted waist for a more defined look ish. The coat does fit true to size however it’s not the most flattering look for my curvier crew. Once buttoned up and belt tied it still gives a very straight wide appearance thats not really what I’m going for. If the coats not buttoned it’s a little better but i don’t know how much I’ll wear it because of its unflattering nature. It’s a nice coat and if you’re thin it should work but anything else I don’t recommend it.

This trench coat is vaguely disappointing. The fabric is just fine -- nothing special. It *is an oversized cut, which might be nice. It *does look better once it's had the wrinkles steamed out of it. Big note on that -- give this thing a chance, because it looks *terrible* when it first comes out of its vacuum pack. De-wrinkle it in the dryer or steam it before you decide. Once it's been steamed, though, I still wasn't thrilled. With the puffed/cuffed sleeves and over-sized cut it gives me a distinct retro 80's vibe. If that's what you're looking for, it's an okay coat for the price
