My favorite parts to this brush are the size, weight, bristles, and believe it or not the brush handle. So many brushes now are making weird sizes, like super long or short handles, heavy or thin light brush heads . Does work well removing tangles wet or dry, without having to pull out your hair in the process. I ordered the large one in black for my husband. Easy to clean since it has shorter bristles. I actually brush my hair longer since it doesn't pull my hair out and it has the perfect weight balance and yes that does make a difference.

I was looking for a backless brush because it seemed easier to clean, but this one had great reviews. I do still see the appeal of the backless because this one can be a little bit difficult to get all of the hair out of. But I like how the bristles do not have balls on the end. It definitely feels more gentle.
