So far so good, people complaining about the assembly problems are wrong, it went together very easily and it’s very solid. I will agree the padding is a bit thin. And you will need to buy a big pillow for the head/back area as the small ones don’t do the job. But again for the price you just can complain. If you are on a budget and can’t find any used outdoor furniture in your area this is a great buy. Currently enjoying it while watching tv on a projector on the back patio! 🙌

First of all, for those who have said it's not comfortable, let's be realistic. It's like they've never sat on Rattan furniture. Are the cushions thin? Yes, they are. Do they slide around a little? Yes. But if you're looking for wicker or Rattan with thick padding, you'll need to go to Wayfair and pay double the price. For $280, it's a decent deal. Will it last years and years? Probably not. But it allows me to lounge on my apartment balcony with coffee or food and enjoy the weather. Of note, I would NOT advise you to try and put this together by yourself. I did and it really was a bit of a nightmare. The "instructions" are literally vague diagrams that once you get past step 5, tell you "now put piece from step 2 to piece from step 5." Actual pictures of the way the pieces go together would be of great help. You MUST make sure to put them together where the holes are in the right place. Also, it would be easier if the screws went from the outside in. You literally have to flip it up on in its side to screw them in or crawl underneath it somehow (you really can't, don't attempt it). For assembly reasons, I gave it 4 stars. But again, it's not the MOST comfortable thing you'll lay on. And yes, you can lay on it. For reference, I'm 5' 10" and my feet do not hang off. You're half-laying/half-sitting, which is the idea. You can read, or as I'm doing right now, work on your laptop comfortably. I also tend to lay more diagonally, but even laying horizontal my feel don't hang off. I did add 2 full body pillows that I bought years ago at Dollar General to put against the back and they work perfectly to cushion my head. I would suggest doing something similar and you'll see that it really is a comfortable piece of outdoor furniture.

I LOVE this patio daybed. It’s obviously not the most expensive, but I find it comfortable and does the job. I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a new piece of patio furniture. This is a great buy. I love to lay on it and read. It is built rather cheaply, but it does the job! If you are looking for something inexpensive, this is a great buy.

I am so disappointed. It's exactly what I was looking for, but the quality is so bad. It looked nice enough when I opened the box that I spent the 3 hours to put it together myself. Not easy, but not complicated. The frame bent the first time it was sat on, and not by a heavy person. The extra leg piece for stability in the middle is so flimsy, it just bends with every shift. It's definitely not sturdy enough for the 800lb weight limit at all. It's a safety hazard. I'm dreading having to take it all apart for return, but it's not worth keeping.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I built it myself in 2.5 hours, with a little help from my boyfriend at the end to hold things together. While it is time consuming, it’s totally worth it. It’s way sturdier than I thought and relatively comfortable. We will be getting a larger pillow for the back but otherwise, for the price, we cannot beat it! Perfect addition to our balcony space. Functionality: Perfect for two people in our space! Size: Fit great on our apartment balcony space.
