Love the product. Provides great shade, easy to set up. Had rain the first night and it pooled on top a couple of feet, slightly bent the upper rods. Gotta tie it so it’s tight sought to not collect too much. Otherwise awesome. Update. This cannot handle any amount of rain without pooling. Very dissatisfied and may return depending on the support ... show more

    • The tarp covering made the entire product fail

Tarps quickly fill with water and the weight of the water bent all of the metal cross members and frame....Also on a windy day the tarp caught the wind acting like a sail and slide the entire pergola across the deck and it only stopped because it hit the side railing...My Pergola's were hit suddenly by a rainstorm and I was out in the storm cutting down the tarps in order to keep the Pergola's from catastrophic failure ...I was not successful...With these tarps you must remove them completely when not in use. You must be very aware of every changing weather patterns and be able to act quickly...otherwise you will lose your Pergola...like I did ...ALL THREE OF THEM... ... show more

So many comments said this thing was easy to put together, but we have determined that is a lie. It took us two days of frustration, a fractured shoulder and lot of sweat and swear words to get this thing up. For one make sure you have a two or three step ladder or two. Pay VERY close attention to the stupid pictures in the instructions!! We had to dismantle it because all the A’s are not created equal and they have to go a specific way. Use a drill with an Allen screw attachment or it’ll take you forever. We did it with two people but I’m 5’ 4” and my fiancé is 5’8 so a third person would have really made a difference. But once we finally got it all together it is nice, but seems very flimsy, it rained the day after we got the frame up and it did leak rusty water when we finished it the day after the rain. Only time will tell what this thing will with stand but for the time being, I’m semi happy with it. I don’t think it’s going to last long, but we shall see.. UPDATE: waste of of $380. Had a storm come through at 3am, it doesn’t matter how tight you hunker the cover down the rails are flimsy, the whole thing got ruined in one good storm. So incredibly upset 😭 I messaged the seller to see if they’d send new cross rails and an canopy, we’ll see if they make it right… but seeing how this product is no longer available I’m probably just out $380 bucks. It was very easy to assemble and much sturdier then was expected. We're very happy with it. We'd suggest weaving the cover over the top if you live in a wind prone area. It still looks nice and will hold up better in the wind.

This pergola was fairly easy to put up. Required at least 2 people to setup, Once the stakes are in it's very sturdy. It provided plenty of space my patio table and 2chairs. It's been up for at least a month from now and it's been snowing, rainy and windy. There have been no problems with anything. I am very happy with the price and also with this item. ... show more
