Okay, so I purchased this Lense as a RENEWED item and I'm sooo in love. The clarity is amazing, not all focal lengths are equal tho, do your research using PC mags review of this lense to see at which aperture and focal length is the sharpest. I took that data and taped a cheat sheet to my camera ;) BTW, DO NOT FEAR BUYING RENEWED. The way I see it, I know for a FACT this lense was inspected by a professional and is good to go. New is great, but more expensive anddd who knows, might still be defective. The bokeh is great, it's lightweight. DO NOT PUT A UV FILTER OVER THIS GLASS. If you do, you better use a good one, otherwise you will lose clarity. I personally do not use one and never will. The lens came boxed as new with all the papers and original packaging. I very much doubt if it has ever been used. I am so happy - pretty sure I got a brand-new item for a bargain price. Lens takes absolutely fantastic photographs. SHARP corner to corner and nice color rendition.

I was honestly skeptical of the whole “renewed” thing but this is actually a great discounted option. Works extremely smooth and no issues so far! Great return policy also so you have time to really test the product before you’re “stuck” with it. Super clean glass and body.. heck Amazon did their thing with this!     • This should replace your kit lens on any full-frame Sony camera
This is a sharp lens with a good focal range for general photography from landscape to portraits. It let's in plenty of light at f/2.8 and is sharp wide open. I highly recommend this lens. Mine was "refreshed" but looked and functioned as new.

I’m not a professional photographer but I can tell you this: Tamron 28-75 F2.8 is the best lens I’ve ever used. It takes gorgeous photos each time, effortlessly. I’m currently using it with a Sony A7II and it’s match made in heaven.
