I had purchased the 12 inch version of these and absolutely love them. The light temp can be changed depending where you put them, and they do the job really well. Lots of light, super easy to install…just 2 wires. This is the largest version (18 inch). I wanted something large for my kitchen since this Is the only light. The size of the room is about 10x10 for reference. But it’s also somewhat open to the dining/living room so the extra light helps. I always err on the side of getting too much light rather than something small that doesn’t quite do the job. I actually thought this might be too much but it’s perfect. One thing of note compared to the smaller versions. This doesn’t sit completely flush to the ceiling like the others. Initially I wasn’t happy about it but once I got it installed I noticed that this has a ring of led lights on the underside as well that gives off a nice glow from the top. It’s sits off the ceiling by about 1inch..as you can see in the photos. Anywhere I’m changing lights I’ll be adding these. They’re inexpensive, look great and don’t take up a lot of visual space.     • Amazing replacement for old track lighting

I replaced the track lighting in my dining room with this flush mount light which makes the room feel so much bigger as it is flush, and provides light everywhere unlike the individual spots on the track. The kit included everything I needed to install it, and the job was quite easy. Also, this light actually works with my dimmer switch. The old LED bulbs would randomly blink. The up facing light on the ceiling is a cool bonus. The only flaw is that the color adjustment switch is on the inside, so the light must be uninstalled to change the color. That wouldn't be that big a deal, except the light is so flat that it took a fair amount of time to attach it to the ceiling without the cord getting in the way. Fortunately I like the color I choose in advance, so I don't have to remove it to change it. ... show more

Used this to replace an old, ugly florescent fixture. It installed quickly and easy (especially if you have a junction box) and fits close against the ceiling. It blends in and does not draw attention to itself. It has a 3 position switch to select color temperature, whis is a real bonus. If you want daylight for kitchen, or soft white for bedroom, or even in between, just set the switch and put the light back up. The switch is hidden, so to change it, you lower the fixture (releases with a quarter turn) change the switch, and put it back up. Set the mood, or match other nearby lighting. ... show more
