I broke the driver side mirror when getting out of the garage. After checking the part online and auto stores I checked Amazon and found good reviews and cheaper price. I admit I was a little concerned when I read few reviews that complained mirror vibration, however the majority were happy by far and finally I decided to try it. The part was delivered very well packaged, actually small package with many safety bubbles inside a bigger box! One of the better quality shipment I have seen. The part itself was 99 percent similar to the original part, the small difference did not effect installation at all. It took me around 10 minutes to install it however I had watched how this is done on Youtube. I highly recommend you to do the same as it prepares you with what might go wrong, like dropping the nuts inside the door if not careful. The part also came with a sticky foam that needs to be installed, I suppose to prevent mirror from vibrating, comparing it with old part as well as watching it on Youtube made it rather easy step. I took the car for a drive in the highway to check if mirror vibrates, I found no issue at all. I am assuming reviewers that complained about this either did not install it properly (may be forgot to install the foam?) or could have been isolated case. In my experience it fit perfectly. I do recommend this part but again strongly suggest watching how installation is done online, that can help you not to do the silly steps like dropping the nuts. ... show more

Had a deer rip off my drivers side mirror. This is an exact replacement. Amazingly easy! Pop off the inside panel take off three nuts, unclip the wire harness and the old one (or base remnant in my case as that was all that remained after my deer encounter) is out. Plug the new one into the wire harness, put the nuts back on the new bolts from inside to hold it in place, replace the cover and tada, looks and works great. Adjustable from inside door just like original. The mirror back panel is removable (comes black) and I spray painted this silver with a $6 can of rust-oleum to match my vehicle. Can’t tell it was ever replaced; AWESOME! Can’t imagine what this would’ve cost me at the shop 2007 Honda Accord Just make sure you order correct driver vs passenger mirror as different. ... show more

I purchased this for my 2004 honda accord. The product is noticeably lighter than the stock Honda part, I am not sure why, but in all construction seemed fine on this part. This piece has an extra plastic structural line near the bottom that is not on the stock honda part, so you can't swap the plastic cover on the Honda piece unfortunately. The plastic cover included in this piece doesn't fit as nicely as the stock honda part, so it took a bit of effort to work into place to get everything to fit. In comparison, the stock honda piece easily slides into place with no effort. That was the only step of the install that gave me any issue. You'll need to apply the included weather stripping to the plastic cover but that was easily done and the stripping went on easy. After I got it on, everything worked as expected, so glad to have a working mirror on my car again! ... show more

Overall, it is a good product even though the design is slightly different from the original one. It works out perfectly. The cap of the mirror unit is in black color. I was able to remove the old cap and install it to this new mirror. It is very affordable. The product was made in Taiwan and the package was well secured. The mirror fit perfectly and installed in 15 minutes. And this is the first one that I have ever done. Its Held on with just 3 small nuts. Only issue is that there is a black removable trim plate on the back so that you can take the plate of the original mirror to match the trim color. I started to remove the one from my original mirror but decided to stay with the one that came with the new mirror because the original trim plate is very scratched up any way.
