I bought the two pack to replace some very dated lights in a very dark windowless hallway. I don't think this hallway has ever seen so much light! They're definitely bright! I had 2 fixtures with 2 60watt equivalent bulbs in each and one of these lights at 75% puts out more light than all 4 bulbs did previously. With both, I'm running it at ~20% and its brighter but in the same range as before. The instructions included make the connection and setup a breeze. I got things linked to my Amazon alexa and Google home accounts in short order and you can even sync them with each other so changes to one change all of them at the same time. The smart home app is nice for the customizable nature but the integration with Google home passes most of the features on while alexa only gives you a few color options. Lastly, wiring this up: do yourself a favor and get some wago lever nuts instead of trying to use the included wire nuts. If your home wiring is like mine, you probably have 14ga solid core romex and there was barely enough room in the included wire nuts for that wire alone. wrapping the stranded wire from this light and making a good connection likely isn't feasible. You could probably make it work but it's likely to be a poor connection (you shouldn't be able to pull the joined wires apart after putting on the nut) Unless you have some extra appropriately sized wire nuts, grab a pack of wago lever nuts and make your life easier.

The media could not be loaded. THESE ARE TOTALLY FABULOUS!!! I bought five of them: one for each front and back porch abd front porch, three for my great room (living room/kitchen combo). First of all 100% brightness looks like an operating room, and 10% is enough to see fine, although I would pick somewhere in the middle. The 4-watt color backing looks GREAT. They can be set to any color. On Autism awareness day, I put them to all blue, for instant, but all five could be a different color. Here's a tip: Go to the effect, "Dazzling" on the scene panel (the other two selections are white and color) part, hit edit. Add all the available colors by hitting the plus button and choose up to all 8 available, there's a further slide bar that controls speed on the bottom. Slide all the way to the right. IT IS THE MOST AMAZING LIGHT SHOW THAT 'DAZZLES' EVERY VISITOR I HAVE!! Play with the settings and find one you love. I wouldn't have figured it out, but the neighbor came over and he is an artist and he came up with it. I am going to look for other combos, and I'm sure there's so many I haven't even thought of with my current fave "Go-To" look. I have two other units in the bedroom that are LED that I bought at Lowe's, but there are no where as cool as these, and I regret not getting these for there. However, I started with those rooms as both my EL CHEAPO construction bargain basement LED fixtures burned out. So 2 of 7 were burned out, and I had to replace them quickly. But even though not as cool as these, and that the ones from Lowe's in the bedroom are motion sensitive and can be annoying, I figured one of the remaining five were going to burn out any day, so I should get similar, dimming LED lights for the other rooms. But if not for the initial purchase, I would not have realized how cool LED dimming lights were in your home. I saw these as Amazon's Choice, and I have NEVER gone wrong with Amazon's Choice. When these went in, they were vastly superior to the initial LED's for the bedrooms. I simply didn't want the option of motion sensing in other rooms, so I got these and they are beyond expectations. My light bill PLUMMETED from $120 to $49, which is at 59.17 PERCENT CHANGE (I am a math teacher). I could go on and on, but take my word for it, they are great. As if I had any complaint, one of the five, a small strip of red along the circle doesn't work, and it is blank when the color is red, and absent during the 'dazzling' display. But instead of going through the rigamarole of taking it down and shipping it back, I figured I was so elated with the overall purchase, and it was so minor, I am just living with it. Even the most perfect-seeming thing can have one flaw! So, I am 99.9999999999 % satisfied! I highly, highly, highly recommend theses. I control them with an Android and an iPhone, and I just bought the newest Alexa Show, two of them actually, to control my Ring doorbell and the new outdoor and indoor Blink security cameras I just ordered. Those, and the new Firestick I bought control the lights by voice. I bet my old Firestick does too, I just never tried that. I don't know if I can leave a follow-up message, but if so, I promise to tell Amazon-land how that worked out for me. So I say do not dealy. Add these to your cart today. I buy on Amazon almost each day, and one day I got so many UPS boxes I told my super-nice UPS driver, "Don't smoke pot then Amazon!" (It's legal here, but just a joke!) I’ve had the light for around a month. I recently moved somewhere new. After a bit, my internet had some issues. Which disrupts it. I fix the internet and I reconnect the light. Problem is, it sucks now. Whenever it transitions into a color, it’s now slow and weird. Whenever I used my Alexa, and the app. It ran smoothly before. I don’t know if there’s a way to fix it.

This is my 2nd one. First one came with physical remote (don’t recollect if different seller however that order page explicitly displayed it). This one doesn’t display the remote and it didn’t include it. However good using Alexa and smart life app. Worked with Google wifi 2.4g (not sure if this one works with nettrend 2.4G wifi router since my first one never was able to connect to netTrend one and finally gave up and used Google one and it worked). Connecting wire assembly was little tough due to prolonged standing to connect the wires (guess any ceiling light requires same effort - wish they had easier connectors - plug it vs screwing the 2 wires in the connector while standing up holding the lamp) Brightness is low when used in color mode, only white light mode has most brightness (guess in color full brightness may not that great of look)

This light is great, has very bright white light and fairly dim colored lights, and is easy to install. A few notes: 1) Someone mentioned that the light is so dim they couldn't even read by it. I guarantee they're just using the backlighting rather than the light itself. The app that's required to operate the whole thing isn't very good, so you need to poke around a bit to see how to work it. 2) You NEED a smart phone to operate this, and it requires both bluetooth and wifi to set up. It's a pretty terrible system from a user experience perspective, but not difficult if you follow directions. 3) It's indeed very easy to install, but in my older house with a textured ceiling, I had to cut away part of the area around my ceiling electrical box with a utility knife for the mount to sit flush, and then allow the light to hang about 1/8 inch *away* from flush with the ceiling due to the texture. It was still easy, but made a bit of a mess. 4) In the manufacturer's video, both the light AND the backlight change color from purple to blue, etc. THIS IS NOT THE CASE, and is the reason I've deducted a star (despite other warnings in the description). The backlight is colored; the main, downward-facing part of the light is ONLY white. Both parts CANNOT be used at the same time (and that would be pointless anyway, since the backlight is fairly dim). Ideally Amazon would make them take down the fake video and replace it with something honest, but that's not going to happen. Overall, the colored backlighting works great in a very dark room, and main light is very bright if you want it to be, and very dim if you want that. Being able to change the white color temperature is pretty great.

It works ok honestly. I wish the color led could be on at the same time as the main light but it cant. Also the main light is less like a flood light and more like a spot light. The light is pretty good right under the light, but off to the sides of the room get a lot less light also The app works well and is easy to use.

I converted regular lights in my main bath to color. There are 3: 2(Wyze on vanity) and 1 ceiling light (Taloya). Note: if you have an older home, you may need to change box (small junctions won't work -- so I needed electrician - additional expense - oh well) LIKES: the setup starts of smooth - installed on my phone - but when it came to connecting to my router that uses both 2.4 & 5G -- that's when it starts to go left. DISLIKE: At first, the fast blink method refused to connect. I spent two hr troubleshooting on how to get it to read 2.4 but no luck. I completed both the fast blink setup and then tried the slow blink setup (which is during the initial fast blink, do the off/on 3 more times) -- both failed. I took out both Wyze bulbs and disconnected Alexa - to isolate other smart bulbs. In my frustration, I spent an 1/2 hr looking for online support (limited to email), then forums, reading every question posted on Amazon, then checking YouTube videos and it's comment section. There was one comment that mentioned during the slow setup, go to your wifi section and choose Smart_Life or SL-xxxx but it kept prompting me for a password which it was not obvious in the documentation and that failed. So I just left it - just as it was looking for a device and walked away. I threw my phone down in disgust -- started writing the emailed support for help and took a break. Once revived, I picked up my phone again - still showing the 'add device section' and decided to press home (it's the tech in me) then ...there it was out of nowhere... LIKES: I see a strange, random nickname and the icon for the light? The icon had "Galaxy AI" next to it! I questioned out loud "who in the *&^% did I connect to??" checked all the sections in the app and it appeared to be setup?? I dunno but I ran to the bathroom and voila -- I see blue!! I plugged the Wyze bulbs back in & finished it up as a group in Alexa! Others have commented on how easy it was to set this up and the great reviews. I didn't have that experience but the colors...beautiful

I bought this light when I removed my kids ceiling fan. I figured it would be a fun light and would help them stay in their room at night. The light is bright and colors are nice. Setup and install are very easy, especially with the connectors they give you. Some pros and cons... Pros: All light colors are bright and get dim enough at night. Works well with alexa, smart home app. Easy install and setup Flush mount looks sleek Cons: It needs constant power. If you have it hooked up to a switch like I did, every time you turn the switch off, it resets the light and you have to reconfigure it. Also, the only way to control the light on and off is through the app (if you were to hook it up to 24/7 power). The thing I would change is to have the color light and white light power separate. Meaning, I would put two power wires, one for the color light and one for the white light, this way with the switch, you could use the light switch for white light, and then have the color light on constant power and with the app you can set it up with automation through alexa like I wanted to.

However, if your house has a 5g wifi connection, Alexa will sometimes not recognize the device as connected and you will not be able to control it thru Echo or alexa app Update, a phew weeks ago the Alexa app update it itself and now it controls completely the lights, very nice purchase.

Very well packaged. Hardware is firm and sturdy. Design immaculate. From unpacking to installation = 10 minutes or less. I did this HOT (I'm Whacko), if you don't have experience...kill the breaker to your lights. Remember safety first. Overall...3 = thumps up, an 11, AWESOME, etc.

I primarily bought this because it seemed to check all the boxes of what I wanted: * Google Home / WiFi * Dimmable * Backlit/Nightlight Mode * Color Changing However after installing it noticed the following differences: 1. It is ONLY dimmable via the app or integrated smart service (Google/Alexa). You cannot use a dimmer switch. 2. The nightlight/backlight mode doesn't give you a normal nightlight color. Instead it's all kinds of colors. I tried reducing all the color away and setting it on the nightlight mode, but it still gives you a shade of purple. 3. You you put it on backlit/nightlight mode and low settings, you can see the individual LEDs. I attached a picture of #2 and #3 mentioned above. If these were like $20 a piece, then I could live it with, but at almost $50 a piece, I'm better off with a normal light fixture and smart bulb, or a similar style fixture that is dimmable on a switch.
