The refrigerator is a very sturdy design suitable for commercial use. The shelves and supports are metal. My unit arrived with some shipping damage, but NAFCOOL customer service was very responsive and sent parts to fix the shipping damage. The LED lighting is great and has an on/off switch. The controller design has settings for temperature range and defrost cycles, but it isn't intuitive. The controller is made by Carel, so documentation is available on the web and a quick reference sheet was sent with the refrigerator. The front cooling fan runs continuously and the noise level is 53 dBA at 1m. I measured power consumption of 78W with lights and no compressor, and 214W with the compressor running. I connected the refrigerator to the wall with a bracket to prevent mishaps. The unit is tall and narrow so it might tip if it's not moved carefully. 2025: Still working great after 2 years ... show more

We initially ordered one of these units for a small store in our high school. We loved it so much that we ordered a 2nd unit shortly after. Do not let the compact size fool you, it holds a lot and the adjustable shelves are a game changer. 10/10 recommend this model and manufacturer!

Unit is exactly as described. It's well built and I am extremely pleased with the product. Product was well protected for shipping and it arrived to Florida from California without a scratch! When remodeling our kitchen, instead of spending $3k plus for one side by side, we were able to buy 2 really nice 20 cu ft refrigerators AND put this glass refrigerator in the middle for less money. This gave us more than twice the capacity for less money. I had some signs printed up at my local sign shop that drop into the window at the top so I can change the theme or message depending upon the time of year. It was a little louder than I expected when I first plugged it in, but once I had it set in place, the unit leveled, and it ran for a week or so - everything settled in and now I no longer hear it. Communication with the supplier was good - they notified me every step of the way. There are 3 changes I would love to see - 1) a separate light switch for the top light and one for the cabinet light - the top light makes a great nightlight in the kitchen but the cabinet light is way too bright. 2) Install a rheostat dimmer switch on the cabinet light - it is bright! 3) an easier way to adjust the temperature setting. It works off a PLC controller and you have to go look it up on the internet to figure out how to adjust it. Would be nice just to have a simple knob to turn or two buttons - press up to make it warmer, press down to make it colder. That being said however - it really wasn't that difficult - and EVERYONE that comes into our kitchen is blown away - they love it. They thought the whole thing was one really large frig unit. Exactly what I was looking for. Just be prepared for the frequent fan noise as other reviewers have noted. The LEDs are quite bright, so I wrapped them in colored electrical tape to attenuate and customize.
