These well made 90% nylon 10% spandex mens shorts are dressy & very handsome. I'm surprised they call them casual cargo, hiking shorts. The quality fabric is light weight, quick dry, not much stretch. But they're extremely comfortable. Total of 5 generous pockets; 2 front hip, 2 front left leg (1 zip, 1 flap), 1 right rear zip. All pockets fit my iPhone 11 w/case & have plenty of remaining space. Size 36 fit me perfectly (5' 11" 214 lbs). The waist has elastic at hip area, with 5 loops for a belt. They fall just above my knees. I purchased deep blue and green (olive), the colors are true. They washed well & kept their shape, I didn't dry them in the dryer. These shorts fit as expected. The color is exactly what I was looking for and well displayed in the pictures. The material is more comfortable than I expected. I was a little leery of the price at first but now I can tell already, these will be some of my favorite shorts. Worth every penny.

Aside from buying the wrong size, these are a nice pair of summer shorts. The fabric is comfortably thin, and dries fast. The zipper is better than some of the other shorts we've seen. We only returned them because the size was wrong. (our fault)

Purchased these and when they arrived tried them on. Fit perfect for now, however by the time I use them on a trip to Aruba soon. I might drop a few pounds and maybe an inch even then, the fit will likely be fine. The appear to be well made and look as good as they do in the photo. Ensure you understand that the photo shows a belt HOWEVER if you read the description you will see they do NOT come with the belt. They are lightweight and will obviously dry very quick while you are outside. I would recommend these for casual kicking around. ... show more

The shorts are well made and fit great true to size. However if you are between sized buy the smaller size the waist is elastic (1+ inch stretch).

They fit great and they’re so comfortable. I wish I found these earlier in the season. Buying shorts for my husband is a nightmare. He has cargo shorts that he's been wearing for 20 years and are threadbare but nothing fit right. Then I found a one-off pair of Orvis tech shorts at Costco and they fit great and he actually likes them, but I couldn't find any more of that style/brand. Then I took a chance on these. $30 was a lot for a shot in the dark, but I ordered the same size as those magic Orvis shorts and they fit well! There is room in the front for ..ahem... the extra package, the length is right for guys who like longer shorts, and they look nice. The fabric is lightweight for summer, but it's not thin. The stretch is great. I'm thrilled, really thrilled that I can buy more in different colors, and maybe hubby will let go of the decades old shorts.
