This pound a ball toy is an instant hit for toddlers, especially for a first birthday. It’s colorful, sturdy, and makes that deeply satisfying “thunk” sound every time a ball drops through the tower. This toy is great! It teaches color, matching, coordination, etc. I purchased one of these for my first grandson about 10 years ago when he was just a few months old and he loved it and played with it every time he came to visit for many years. He's almost 11 years old now and he still pulls it out of the toy chest when he visits and reminisces about playing with it. It also became a favorite toy for my younger grandson too. After seeing how much they enjoyed it now I purchase this as gifts.

Our little one likes playing with this toy. They are still to little to understand how it works exactly but they are getting the hang of it. It’s not too big that it will take up space but it’s about decent size for little hands to still play with. The balls are easy to grab for our little one and they like to throw them or try to eat them. The treys together and the balls do not weigh a lot at all. I think for the price it’s great. Our little one is getting a lot of fun out of this toy in other ways than just smacking the ball down and watching it. Tipping it over and watching the balls scatter if their favorite.

Got this for my best friend’s son's 1st birthday and it was a big hit. At this age kids tend to like cause and effect toys, and this is a great one. I love wooden toys, but for the cost, you really can’t go wrong with this. Quality was fair, and will definitely last for as long as he’s interested in it. It’s been about a month, and this still captures his attention. Definitely recommend for 8+ months!
