Let me get this out of the way...Quality? Great! You'll love the jacket. It's high quality. It's not a winter jacket, but certainly keeps you warm. It's comfortable overall. Lots of zippers and storage for hiking/camping, etc. Sizing might be the issue anyone has. They list a "US Size/Tag Size", and recommend to size up. So, take your US size, and go one size larger to get the tag size. Simple enough. The size chart on this, and similar jackets are all about the same, and both say to estimate for 1-2 inches in difference. I don't like buying clothes online because of my size and shape. I'm 5'10", 180 lbs. Depending upon materials, cuts, etc...I alternate between Medium and Large tops. This jacket was no different. I purchased "US M/Tag L". It's a bit on the slimming side, the way I like it, but my arms are definitely longer and the sleeve cuffs JUST hit my wrist. Any sort of movement and the cuffs ride up a bit. Nothing I can't get past. I had another jacket type/brand do that recently, and then when I swapped to a larger size, it was way too big around the belly area and is now a little too uncomfortable. This TACVASEN, because of the way it fits otherwise, is perfect...just arms are a little shorter than I would like, and I'm afraid to size up one more and have it be too big. Be aware of the size and order accordingly. UPDATE: I ordered the US L/Tag XL. Kind of the same thing in the arms. Still fits nicely, still well made, and comfortable and keeps you warm and dry...just the arms feel short. ... show more

Good men's coat and the sizing is correct. Color is as shown. All the pockets are great as well as the fact that you can snug the hood down while hands are still in the pocket because the pulleys for that are inside the side pockets. So these jackets never look the same in the photo as they do in real life and the first thing I noticed was the zipper is on the opposite side for a men’s jacket and I also noticed that it wasn’t such a big deal after a bit, I mean… It’s also quite irritating how totally comfortable this jacket is… what a fail!… And as luck would have it, its turning out to be my favorite light jacket - WTH? ARE THEY SERIOUS! How can they make this jacket with this high of quality for only $65…. I just didn’t want to like it because I happened to order the green and at first it just didn’t appeal to me… And in fact, I didn’t even wear this coat for quite, then I started noticing how well the stitching was done and how convenient the pockets are… I mean they’re big and they are positioned up high on the coat….high enough so that you don’t feel like you’re having to walk with your hands down around your knee caps just to keep your hands warm. These have pockets are up higher just under my ribs and it’s perfect. It’s been an absolutely horrible and wonderfuly satisfying product. … and like I said, I really expected to not send this back until I wore it and realized how comfortable it was… Also, I got some black ash and soot on the arm of the coat from loading firewood and the soot come out of the coat beautifully. I am horribly impressed with how they failed to make this coat suck! LOL. Buy it, I’m getting another in a different color! LOL. I am not kidding. The green of this coat looks exactly like the green olive you find on a long tooth pic in a martini. Its THAT color. I love it!…. NOT!…. Lol ... show more

Great look and features especially if you like tactical pockets. Not a warm jacket. It’s windproof and rain resistant. And has “fleece” lining. The thinnest most insubstantial fleece you can use and still call it fleece. Be sure to wear a thick sweater underneath for colder temps. Not a cozy feeler.
