These cameras are high quality, take excellent pictures with high resolution and were easy to set up…I called the customer service desk to walk me through the set up steps instead of reading the instructions. I had 2 completely ready, live on the app and in place in my back yard in 40 minutes. The costumer service with Tactacam was terrific. Very knowledgable and super helpful in the set up process as well as helping me select which of their cameras to buy. I would recommend these cameras highly.

EDIT!!!! RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY..... I have had the camera since February.... apparently I purchased a lithium battery not from Tactacam, so when I contact Tactacam customer service regarding the poor battery life I was told I need to buy one from them. So I did.... At that time I was also told I was using an incorrect SD card. I just recently installed the new TACTACAM battery, and it dropped to 47% in 10 days with MINIMAL (2 pics daily) usage.... worse performance than the previous non tactacam approved battery. Now I'm being told I did not use a proper 'block' to charge the battery! NO WHERE ON THEIR WEBSITE DISCRIPTION DOES IT STATE YOU HAVE TO USE A SPECIFIC BLOCK FOR CHARGING BOTH THE LITHIUM BATTERY AND THE SOLAR PANEL (which has never worked, makes a great paperweight) Nor, was I told anything about a specific block to charge when I was dealing with their Customer Service re: battery life.... wouldn't that have been something worth mentioning, as the SD card was. I have now been ignored with my inquiry as to why she didn't tell me this when I was sold the new battery.... Terrible service...ZERO STARS A bit confusing to set up (somehow it did it on its own after reviewing the directions multiple times). Several photos wasted while setting up (should allow day of set up free, as subscriptions are a monthly photo allowance). Wish there was a live option. Only benefit of this camera is with the $9 mo ‘extra’ option, otherwise camera isn’t worth it. Buying the additional battery only lasted around 2 months with very minimal usage (5-10 photos/videos weekly). Videos drain the battery significantly

This is my 2nd Tactacam trail cam, the first being a 2.0, and I do believe this new 3.0 is a little better. I like the built in antenna and holder for folding it down, image quality seems to be on par if not a little better than the 2.0 and the price was good. Set up is very easy and I am not a tech savvy individual at all. Battery life has been great so far and first month it was up we were in the 100° range, just cooling down so, although a lot of batteries, they do last. I’m not sure it has the best trigger speed compared to my BOG Bloodmoon however, the 3.0 does seem to be better than the 2.0 trigger speed. All other functions through the app are the same as previous models. Haven’t used it long enough to give a great review but, I’m liking it along the 2.0 I’ve had set for a while now. I actually just placed it in a new spot yesterday thinking it’s an area I needed eyes on more than where it was previously. Although not the monster buck I’m hoping for apparently, I wasn’t wrong in location. Regarding trigger speed, this was the only shot I got of the doe so, again, Tactacam I’ll be doing some side by side comparisons to make sure I’m not missing anything. I really am enjoying these cameras though and plan on addling more.
