I did some major rearranging in this room. I was wondering when guest stayed where do you plug in phone,iPad ect. This was perfect, has two USB and I outlet. Also has an on and off switch on cord. I really love my new lamps, they are the perfect size, they are very useful with the USB ports and plug, and despite their utilitarian build they are very pretty. I did find that the USB did not charge my phone while the lamp was off but I found that this was due to ALEXA. To get around that while the light is on I simply pull the pull chain and now the phone charges fine with the light off. I had contacted the seller about this and they were extremely helpful.     • Surprisingly high quality
I fully expected this little lamp to be cheap Chinese junk but would provide light where needed. There is a pull chain switch as well as an in-line switch on the cord(?) The cord seems to be considerably heavier than it needs to be but that's good. The look is nicely contemporary and clean. The USB jacks (2) make it very convenient to charge one's phone at night on the night stand and right at hand if a call comes in. The electrical outlet (1) seems handy but the positions of both electrical and USB are a little awkward. Leaving an electrical plug or USB jack plugged in is a little ugly because that compromises the clean contemporary look. It is, never the less, good to have the outlets available if they are needed. I would have positioned then on the side of the base in the back. The 6W bulb is quite bright and I might see about getting a lower wattage (I don't usually read in bed). The quality of this little lamp really is pretty impressive and the clean look is excellent. I recommend it. ... show more

    • Nice little multi-functional lamp
This was a great replacement for the desk lamp I'd been using on my bedside table. It's actually a little brighter than I wanted so I just wrap some scarves around the shade to dim it. I love the two usb ports and extra plug-in it has, very handy to have on a nightstand. Looks nice and compact. Everything has worked as it should in the past few weeks that I've been using it. My only real complaint is that the base is pretty light. I wish it had some weight to it, because part of the reason I had to scrap my previous lamp (which also had usb ports) is because I am a clumsy person and having things plugged into the lamp means it tends to get yanked around, and inevitably knocked over. I've been careful with this lamp so far but I imagine it'll take a few tumbles eventually. But for the price, I think it's a great product! ... show more

This lamp is quite nice and has a lot of great features. The box it came in was much smaller and lighter than expected, but the pieces were all fit intelligently within the box to minimize damage and volume. The light comes with its own low wattage bulb, which is on the darker side but does well for a bedside to not overpower your eyes before calling it a night. USB switches on the side are available for recharging devices when the independent power switch is toggled— the fact that you can have devices charging while the lamp is off is a great point. There is also a discreetly placed 110 plug on the top as a pass-through power source if needed. I put this on an smart-controlled plug, but realized after that it prevents charging of devices. I will likely put a Wi-Fi lightbulb fixture in the lamp to control the lamp independently while allowing the USB to operate uninterrupted. So glad I got this lamp— it’s terrific. ... show more

This is during the COVID-19 pandemic that I'm writing this review. I use the phone stand on this lamp and set it next to my bed so my fiancée and I can video call every night. I also use it as a nice reading light as this lamp is warm. The AC plug supports a massive wattage (1200) so I can run the vacuum from this or plug my 500 watt mini desk heater next to my bed no problem. The AC plug itself has a breaker switch in case you want to turn it off but leave the lamp on. This lamp is cool to the touch (LED) and easy to assemble, everything works great! For the price, it's a much higher upgrade from my piece of cardboard and lamp I was using to video call at night before. ... show more

First of all (and where all the others failed), the USB ports work perfectly, you can plug and unplug cables SMOOTHLY. Everything charges fast. I also like that you have a switch for the lamp, another for USB ports, and another for both. So you can choose whatever is more comfortable for you.
