This item arrived a few days after ordering in its own box with formed styrofoam and all the pieces covered in plastic. This is an item you have to assemble. There is the base with a short cord (3-4 ft), 2 brass rings, a finial and the shade. The base has a matte finish and is well-made of a thick ceramic/porcelain. The green is very pretty. Like an olive green. The finial is pretty on the lamp. The 2 brass rings are also well-made and didn't bend while putting on the shade. Now, the shade. Ohhhhh that shade (smh). It's about 10" ... roughly. And I mean 'rough' lol. It's made of some kind of paper (?) It's not see-through but ... Not like anything I have in my home. It's the beige piece in the pictures. BEWARE! There are little prongs that run along the top and bottom of the shade. This is where you insert the 2 rings to make the shade round and ... stable. I cut myself twice just unraveling it so, please be careful and keep it away from kids/animals while you're constructing the lamp. My son was able to put it together in about 3 minutes so easy-peasy ... just beware of those prongs lol. I got this to replace a HUGE brass lamp with a HUGE lampshade I fancied 15 years ago. This lamp is much smaller. From base to tip of finial it probably is 20". I'd be very careful cleaning the shade ... using a damp cloth only. I'm glad I got it. It's a cute little thing. I took away one star because of that dang shade. lol Those prongs can hurt you. I think the price point if a bit high for what you get. I'd recommend this lamp for a starter home or apartment. A bedroom. It's a very simple design. However, I'd also recommend you shop around a little more and compare cost. ... show more

We are in the middle of fixing up a house that still needs molding. In the meantime, we needed a lamp for a spare bedroom, so I ordered this G-SAFAVA Table Lamp. The various assembly pieces were well-packed inside the box. It came with 2 pages of simple instructions, but my boyfriend didn't need them since he's put lamps together before. (He also put together the nightstand on which the lamp now sits.) He said it was easy to put this lamp together, but the shade sat crooked on the Antique Black base, which, by the way, looks okay on the nightstand. Apparently, the metal piece that the harp clips into was bent, and he had to adjust it so the shade could fit more level. It still cants to the side. Unfortunately, he then discovered he had to remove the harp again so that he could screw in a lightbulb. When turned on, the light illuminates the rivets that hold the top and bottom rings inside the shade. The lamp is okay for a spare bedroom or foyer because it only stands 20" tall, including the finial that's screwed on top to hold the shade in place. It's not an impressive lamp. The shade has a partial gap at the top, also, which makes the lamp look cheap and not worth the current price of $44.99, even with a 10% off coupon. ... show more

This lamp looks nice in a bedroom and assembles really easily. It may be too small for furniture associated with a king size bed and large bedroom, but I found it to work very well in my guest room with a queen size bed and smaller night stands.

This lamp is a sleek modern design that still fits well in our cozy farmhouse living room. It provides a nice neutral design element and is not distracting. It just kind of blends in with everything else and does what it’s supposed to, which is provide cozy warm lighting. I have no issue with the materials - it seems well made to me and it was easy to assemble. In terms of downsides, the lamp is overall a little smaller than I expected it to be. The proportions between the shade and the base feel off. In the pictures, the shade seemed streamlined in both height and width to fit the base ideally. But in person, the shade is a lot bigger/wider than the base. The color of the shade is also more white than cream colored as shown. We were hoping for a more cozy cream color. ... show more
