Size: Battery Strap for Quest 2
I've purchased the BOBOVR M2 (non-battery pack edition) and have been using that as well as the official Oculus head strap for the past year or so. And I gotta say this head strap takes basically everything that the BOBOVR M2 does and improves upon it at a cheaper price (at least currently as of 2/22 with the 20% off coupon and base price) and with a significantly better battery pack then the BoboVR. Initially setting the headstrap up wasn't too bad, I like that it clicks into place like the official headstrap as opposed to sliding on with tight friction. The headstrap piece is a nice soft memory foam type of material and the turn style dial is basically the same as the competitors. I feel in general the entire setup just screams high quality. I did have a few minor gripes but I wouldn't say they're deal breakers considering the high capacity battery and comfort/price. Pros: 1) Cheaper than competitors with higher quality dual batteries. 2) Extremely comfortable, even with my big head and numerous hours of play time. 3) Very premium feel, and the power banks can be used to charge other products... Huge win in my book. Cons: 1) The turn dial didn't work for me briefly a few times. It would adjust and then pull back a bit but I believe this is because I overtightened? It's only happened about 4 times but something to note... will update later if it happens again. 2) The battery can only be put one way. This is an issue every battery headset has though, and it does provide an audible "beep" to let you know it's charging. I guess I didn't fully anticipate that. 3) Although not a con for me, the back head plate doesn't support the different style cushions like the BoboVR had. I think they're a gimmick and it doesn't bother me but it may be a deciding factor in your case. Overall I give it a 5/5, the only thing that could potentially cause any issues is the turn style knob but I believe that would be due to user error. I don't see why anyone would get a competitors product at this price point/quality! ... show more

Size: Battery Strap for Quest 3/Quest 3S
We purchased a Meta Quest 3 for our three children this Christmas. They would play it constantly until the battery would die. Waiting for the battery to charge was torture for them. They also struggled with adjusting the head strap that came with the Quest. They would always need help tightening and getting the headset to fit properly. Wearing the headset with the provided strap was also uncomfortable and felt like all the force was on your face. My face would hurt after playing for a while. I immediately started researching the best adjustable head straps with backup batteries. When I came across this head strap I was sold on the fact that it came with two batteries and a charger. The batteries are magnetic and quickly click into place. You can easily swap batteries while still wearing the VR headset. Having two batteries means your quest will never die again as long as you keep one charging. The head strap is super easy to adjust and makes for a perfect fit no matter how small or large the person's head is. The back part of the strap helps distribute the weight of the headset much better. You can play for hours and your face or head won't hurt. The top strap is padded and honestly I don't even feel it. I couldn't be happier with this purchase, it was well worth the money and takes the Meta Quest 3 to the next level! ... show more

  • Bit pricy but the headset adaptor seems equal or superior to elite strap
Size: Battery Strap for Quest 2
The media could not be loaded. Customer support took care of me, and i had gotten a refund on this product and got to keep the product, due to what i think is a defect (where the battery makes humming sounds). One of two batteries sometimes does NOT make the humming/weird static/cackling sound, but this was the reason for my requesting a refund (and getting it) after sending a demonstration to support. Regardless i replaced the batteries cells in the batteries making cackling sounds and that fixed my issue. Moving on the review is below, Product does its job. Actually it caused me to phase out my Elite VR Strap headset attachment, its silent swivel/locking/tightening mechanism is superb. The cushioning that folks think is a gimmick actually works perfectly should be how all the headsets are. My kids love it too. Its Literally a steal although i feel it could cost like $50-60 and be acceptable pricing. The magnetic feature is absolutely not a gimmick and worth having, i thought it would absolutely suck. Boy was i wrong, i could literally do a barrel roll (population one) and shoot while spinning, and the battery stayed attached. The Pictures attached showcase the BINBOK VR Fan and its facial attachment, WHICH might i add, caused me to also phase out the modified spacer/attachment metas facebook sent me when there was a identified fault in the face portion with a silicon cover. That said... i use the BINBOK VR Fans added attachment, works wonderfully with their headset as well, and comfort fitting is a understatement, its the first attachment that does not have LIGHT bleed in, so thats a big deal, and its not uncomfortable either! All this said, the cable is "Just long enough" to do its job its not too much or to little, i do wish they'd make a modified usb c connector to be more "form fitted" to the NexiGo Type-C Adapter(basically a straight usb c connection), but otherwise, the products pretty much perfect as is. The cackling sound on charging base is concerning for the product, but support did address this concern. I ended up disassembling and replacing the batteries in one of the battery packs and this resolved the static noise, which too me, means probably something was faulty with that battery. Not sure what, as i was able to reuse it in another DIY project so i mean. There's that. For the record this is my play time in a limited testing done playing the quest 2 with per aspera vr nonstop, Guardians frontline nonstop, and then Bigscreen VR nonstop, and population one. With a fully charged BINBOK 8000mAh battery attachment plugged in, fully charged BINBOK VR Fan(1200 mAh battery), NexiGo Type-C Adapter, and the ZYBER IR Light, Fully charged Quest/Meta 2 i get like 7-8hrs fully depleting the BINBOK battery, then the quest 2 battery to like 0 where it force shuts down. With just the ZYBER IR light used at full power, and fully charged BINBOK 8000mAh battery, and fully charged quest 2, i get like 9-11hrs based on one of 3 games/apps being used. With just the BINBOK 8000mAh battery, AND a fully charged quest 2, i get about 8-13hrs based on the games mention being played. The weight on this thing, feels no different than the stock quest 2 headset weight, even though this is not remotely true, thats how it feels to me. Does not feel overbearing what so ever. Not weird, or annoying at all, and it does not obstruct my gameplay or movement. Probably a big deal with all the attachments that i mentioned with this given it seems like alot of weight but it really isnt. Realisitically adds like a pound in a half, but i dont at all notice the weight what so ever, nor does it impact me, and the pressure on my face doesn't exist, thats why i ended up using BINBOKs head support and facial attachment from the two separate products. Their superior. lol Edit: Worth mentioning the products showcased are all together and individually shown in the video for power draw breakdown. Added a 1min 22sec video since i couldnt attach broken down segments of the power draw, and connected add ons mentioned.
