Because I rely on my blender to make vegan-y things (not a vegan but I’m allergic to dairy, so I make non-dairy milk, cheeses, etc), I need it to be strong enough to really grind nuts etc very very fine. The other day, I needed to make cashew cream to make butter (I know how weird that sounds, but I’m not letting an allergy keep me from eating things I like lol). I forgot to let the cashews soak for four hours, but I didn’t have time to do it over, so I just threw them in with the water and hoped it would not inordinately suck. Not only did it work fine, that was the best cashew cream I’ve ever made because there was zero grit like you get when the cashews don’t grind completely. Smoothies are fine, but to me that was the ultimate test. Is it perfect? Well, no. It’s LOUD, even for a blender, as in loud enough to wake up my partner on the second floor lol, and it’s plastic, so it isn’t exactly aesthetically pleasing, but if you’re clumsy like me, that’s probably a good thing. I’ve been know to drop blender pitchers in the past and the glass ones don’t survive. Still, for the money this is a helluva bargain and I’m very pleased with how well it works. Initially, I was going to give this 4 stars because it isn’t beautiful—which is something you might want to consider if you’re keeping it on the counter. But if you are able to tuck it away out of sight, then it really is a great deal.

This blender has three features that are problematic. When you go to put the blender onto the bottom you have to be exactly in the right position otherwise it won't fit snuggly. This takes some fiddling around. The top fits tightly but has these two handles you are left with wondering what to do with them. Do they snap down as the instructions say? Only one side will snap. If you try to snap the other side the lid doesn't fit. So stop trying. Also there are measurements on the side of the jar but are almost impossible to read making them worthless. It's kind of bulky, not as streamlined as my old one. I used it once and it did a pretty good job on the smoothie, but it didn't crush the ice. I wonder if it only does that if it is on the crush ice mode. I'm willing to give it a few more chances. All the reviews on other blenders weren't great so I tried this one.

I bought this to make fruit smoothies and it works very well. The only problem I have with it is that the ice cubes do not get fully chopped unless I chop the ice in the blender first before adding other ingredients. But the frozen fruit blends nicely. It’s pretty loud. Easy to clean. Comes off the base nice and easy. Just lift it up and off. Considering the price and the results of the smoothies I am happy with his purchase.

The media could not be loaded. I like this blender, I purchased this during a sale. The bottom does not come out , so it can be challenging to clean, but if you give it a good hot rinse immediately after you should be fine. My only 1 advice to the mfg. Is to place suction on the bottom of the blender... because it loves to dance. You'll see from the video I uploaded.
