Purchased this chair following an old hand me down that served its purpose, but I definitely needed an upgrade without breaking the bank. Ordered this chair for the combination of price, positive reviews, adjustment options, and aesthetics (to me - it's important to like how an item looks in your home on top of functionality). It was very easy to assemble with instructions that are mostly pictorial, so language is not a barrier here. I would say you can have it fully assembled in 30 minutes or less depending on your experience. The lumbar support has some adjustment that definitely comes into play depending on your needs. The height adjustment of the chair is standard and should accommodate most desk setups and user heights. The armrests fold up easily, but mostly for storage so you can put the chair flush with the edge of your desk when not in use, I would recommend keeping them down when actually sitting in the chair. The entire unit feels strong and will last for several years with moderate care. The sitting cushion is quite substantial and comfortable which was a nice surprise in this tier of office chair. I definitely recommend this unit (and if you can get it at at a discount, like the $30 off as I write this, it's a no brainer). Go for it!

I was looking for a chair for my home office at various retailers. The problem I found was that the chairs that were affordable looked like they were designed in the 1970s. They were very plain with the faux leather covering. I did see some designs that I liked and that were modern, but they were priced at $250 or higher. I decided to go online and look to see if I could find anything that I liked at a decent price. I did find the Sytas chair, and I was intrigued. The design had a mesh back as well as adjustable lumbar support. It seemed to be what I was looking for in a chair. When the item arrived, I was not disappointed. The pieces were labeled for easy assembly. The instructions also had a QR code to allow me to see videos of the item being assembled. The pieces were assembled with Allen type screws. The package included a corkscrew style Allen key, and I had no problem assembling the chair. The assembled chair was comfortable, and it has a gas shock to adjust the height as well. Overall, I was happy with my purchase, especially the price, design and quality.

I purchased the Sytas Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair for my home office. WHAT is with these chair manufacturers who think people want to recline while they work. I mean, seriously. I want to be productive when I'm working. Many office chairs today are designed so the back of the chair ACTUALLY lays you in a reclined position. I'm not talking about the adjustable backs that intentionally allow you to recline. I'm taking about the fixed position that is 'suppose to be' ergonomically correct for your back while working. This is not ergonomic OR comfortable. Once I purchased a 3 inch wedge seat cushion to use behind my back so I'm in an upright position, the chair is great! Without that, I would have returned it! The chair rolls nicely on hard floor surfaces. The base cushion is comfortable. I also added gel elbow cushions for comfort. With my additions, it is working great for me.

I love this chair, it provides excellent back support. I have some lower back issues and always have back pain after sitting for an hour. I tried so many different types of chairs in store, but most of them don’t provide enough support for my back and very expensive. I heard this one online from a FB discussion group, decided to give it a try. I’m glad I found the right chair! It’s not that heavy and easy to move around, and it’s not expensive! The most important thing is helping my back muscles, I can sit working for a couple of hours without pain. Of course it has all common flexibilities adjusting height and angle. Well worth it!

I’ve had this chair for about 6 months now. I originally purchased it because it had the flipable arm rests and wasn’t overly expensive. The creaks and cracks are unbearable a few months in, lots of popping noises. The mechanism the locks the back in place constantly snaps and you go flying backwards. The comfort, or lack thereof is the main reason I’m leaving this review. The are rest grade against your elbows, the material is rough. There is no support on the back so your body just sinks through the mesh. This chair encourages slouching to avoid the pain and strain it puts on your back, which in turn causes back problems. Throughout the day at work I need to go lie down and rest my back now for 10-15 minutes whereas before this wasn’t the case with other chairs. Even the cheap $100 gaming chair I had before this one was miles ahead I’m not killing my spine. Not to mention the cheap cushion sinks all the way down to the cheap cardboard. I couldn’t leave a more terrible review. Please please stay away from this if you know what’s good for you. I’m sure it’s causing some long term damage to my back.
