Really nice looking rope kit for the cost, i really like the included rubber stopper and the winch hook looks like a really well made part with a nice spring loaded catch on it. Should fit my winch great, haven't installed it yet cause i still have the snowplow and plow strap on it, but the previous steel cable was getting frayed and dangerous to handle cause it would stick you and get snagged on stuff, looking forward to a synthetic rope to eliminate all of those problems. Should be easy to install, comes with all the hardware needed, the attachment points and ends look very well made and durable. Looking forward to having this on my winch if winter ever gets done!

Its a perfect replacement for the steel which cable. Took me longer getting that off than putting this back on. One thing you will need to make this work. The bolt that attaches the cable to the drum is too short to make the rope work. No matter how hard you hit the end piece of the rope with hammer it will not be small enough to screw back in to the drum. So find a bolt similar to that one but take in the consideration of the thickness of that end piece. Also dont get a bolt that is too long or you will risk it digging into the side of the winch mount behind the drum flange. The hook that comes with this kit seems very well made and the rope is plenty strong enough to drag a 6000 pound truck with the brakes locked. For the price this a a screaming good deal. Also it weighs nothing compared to the steel cable. I wrapped the rope around about 8 turns then started the dragging of that truck., I did not feel the rope need much stretching but did want a good tight wrap. There was plenty of space left on the drum after the install. So when you are actually using it, you dont have to worry too much about it stacking and breaking the cross tie rods.

Bought this to replace the worn out wire strand rope on my 2016 Polaris General. Works well! I have used it primarily to raise and lower my 72" HD Plow that is around 200 lbs. Does it with no problem whatsoever. Wouldn't hesitate to use it in any other application like pulling my UTV out of a mess.
