I do a ton of recovery work when wheeling and road tripping for weeks at a time in my Tundra. These are absolute beast shackles and show little wear. I've had a number of previous shackles stolen and the locking system on these is good enough for me to have not lost a single one so far and I have 4 of them constantly mounted to my tundra bumpers. They are good and heavy, lock well so no one can just walk up and take em, fit in the holes of the bumper well. Their a little lighter than mojito green like our jeep.

We purchased two sets for out 12 ton wreckers for recovery. So far, they have been able.to do everything we have thrown at them. Not one has deformed, broke chipped, nothing. Of course my opperators are professionally certified and trained recovery personalle, so they adhere strictly to WLL and know rigging and the mathematical formulas of resistance, pull, angles, etc. But for the off road jeep weekender, these would be more than plenty. Infact, when we recover jeeps from lakes, swamps, trails, we pull off their 4t shackles and install these to make sure we are covered. So yea, Id say if our operators can use these shackeles in life saving situations, and put their life and $250k wreckers on the line, they are good! ... show more
