I bought these to have extra soft shackles for tree saver and for use with winch extension for more complicated power recovery pulls. I have not used them yet. I wish the ad had better dimensions on display. I also wish the shackles were a bit longer. But the product appears to be a quality product. Ideally, I would like two 24" soft shackles to grab around "A" arms and auto undercarriage in the event of no recovery points. (Many vehicles have no recovery points). The shackles do have a protective sleeve and came with two additional sleeves - Thanks Creative! The ring is much smaller than I expected but, should work fine. It is solid, well finished, smooth and light weight. I write reviews for so many products it would be great to have my own review channel. :) Hint. ... show more

Great shackles! I use these shackles to hold my deer up after the hunt. They are strong, keep a good grip, and keep the deer in place just fine. They are the perfect size for the purpose I use them for and provide a great layer of protection. The breaking strength far exceeds the weight of a deer so I have no idea how much they will hold, but I reckon they would do just fine pulling an ol' truck out the mud. ... show more
