    • No assembly instructions. Placed the 4 thinnest washers in the top pivot bolts between the plates?
No assembly instructions. There is a bag of nuts, bolts, washers of different sizes with no indication of where to use what. Its not a huge deal but would have made assembly a lot faster. Placed the 4 thinnest washers in the top pivot bolts between the plates?

Item first arrived missing components, contacted the company and they immediately sent out the missing pieces. Haven’t put the mounting plate to the test but seems very well built and expect no problems.

This is one well made unit. It did add some additional weight to the Badlands winch, it is definitely worth it. The pre-drilled bolt holes on the plate matched perfectly up to the 12000 Badlands winch and the double rollers that cause the cable to retrack evenly back onto the spool also had pre-drilled holes that matched, as well as, the bolts and nuts to go with it. All in all this is an excellent choice to secure the winch in place for dragging something. Be advised that your 2" receiver hitch needs to be capable of handling 6 tons or you may not have a good day. ... show more

    • DO NOT BUY XBULL PRODUCTS!
Buyer beware, do not buy any XBULL products! I purchased this winch and the XBULL winch mount that are supposed to be compatible. In my case, the mounting holes for the winch and the mount are incompatible by over 1/2", and I even returned my mount and got another version of the same model to have the exact same problem. To make matters worse, neither the measurements for the winch or the mount match the product specifications. If that wasn't bad enough, Xbull has not responded to multiple attempts to reach customer service and there is no phone number to call. Now, I'm out over $60 returning these products when XBULL claims to cover return shipping costs, yet you can't get ahold of them so you'll never get them to honor such claims. Horrible quality control and horrible customer service are a bad combination! I will never even consider another XBULL product again. You have been warned! ... show more
