    • Short Life
Style: 75 Watt Size: 6 Count Color: 2700k Soft White
The details for these bulbs says they last 13.7 years. I bought these less than a year ago. I like the brightness but after 4 months they began to dim, and the first one burned out at 11 months. Pretty bad for $4.50 per bulb.

    • Love These Bulbs Even Though 1 in 12 Was Bad
Style: 75 Watt Size: 6 Count Color: 2700k Soft White
I'm still giving these 5 stars even though 1 of the first 6 that I purchased did not work. I do remember testing them all but when I went to install one for regular operation, it didn't work. I have since purchased another 6 pack, tested them all and put them in my spares kit ready for any of the original set that need replacement. I put these in our outdoor fixtures with dawn/dusk sensors. They seem slightly smaller than normal bulbs which makes them perfect for use with the sensors that raise the receptacle a bit. Four of these bulbs went in last summer and have lasted through 90+ degree weather and some below zero windchills over the winter. The warm color temp is pleasant and plenty bright. The 2700K/soft white are still a little bit brighter/whiter than some neighbors but much less blue and awful than others. Provides for very good visibility and enhances security around our property. • Loses brightness if run continuously
Style: 75 Watt Size: 6 Count Color: 2700k Soft White
Beware, these bulbs are rated for 15000 hours if used for 3 hours a day. You won't get that lifetime if you run them continuously. I had two running continuously for about a year (about 9000 hours) and they ended up degrading to about 10% the brightness of a bulb that I turned off every night. The new bulbs are truly brilliant though. ... show more

    • Excellent choice for kitchen fixtures, better output over 60W equivalents.
Style: 75 Watt Size: 6 Count Color: 2700k Soft White
Put these in my kitchen lights, and I'm impressed. Hope they hold up. Nice color for indoor and simulates incandescent bulbs. Very happy with the amount of light that is output, needed boost over 60w equivalents. For the few extra pennies a year, get to see so much better at night. Didn't need or want smart bulbs in kitchen, good choice. ... show more

    • These are a great option if you like to frequently change burned out bulbs
Style: 75 Watt Size: 6 Count Color: 2700k Soft White
In December of 2024, I bought a dimmer switch for my home office light fixture. I wanted brighter lights while I was working during the day, but I still wanted to be able to turn the lights down in the evening as I sometimes watch movies on my 32-inch monitor. After looking over my options, I bought a 6-pack of these Sylvania 75W equivalent LED light bulbs. Initially I though that the light quality was fairly good. However, over time I found that the bulbs began failing frequently. Today I pulled the last bulb from this 6-pack that was still in my 3-bulb light fixture because it began to strobe/flash intermittently. The box that they came in stated that their lifespan was 13.7 years when used 3-hours per day. So, 13.7 years times 365 days per year times 3 hours per day, I get approximately 15,000 hours for their individual "life-span". The set of 6 light bulbs I bought lasted me 19-months. Assuming that each bulb lasted an equal amount of time (which seems reasonable given that there are 3 bulbs in the fixture), that would be about 9.5 months per bulb for their average lifespan. If I then assume that I left the lights on in my office for 24-hours per day (i.e. never shut them off) they lasted slightly less than 7,000 hours total - which is less than 50% of what the manufacturer says their life span should be. But, I don't leave my office light on 24 hours per day, so I didn't get 7,000 hours out of them. If I had used them for 18-hours per day (over their 9..5 month lifespan), which is still likely a high usage estimate, they lasted about 5,200 total hours which is slightly less than 35% of what the manufacturer lists their lifespan. While the light quality is good, I won't be buying another set of them - they don't last long enough. ... show more
