Description

The main light, features over 110 LED lights for bright signals. Connects to the back of your helmet via Velcro, make it easy to move from helmet to helmet. Just add Velcro to your other helmet. The built-in battery takes about 2 hour to fully charge and will run the unit for over 16 hours. Manual ON/OFF will automatically activates running light, Brake light, left and right signals , synchronized to your bike's lights. The light feature, is pre-paired to the controller when leaving the factory. Measurements; 8" Long x 2" Hight and 1.5" deep This is the brain of the system. Usually placed under your seat, connects to your brake light, left signal light, right signal light and ground. Pre-paired to its light feature can also pair to an additional set (total of 2 sets) if you wish. It was somewhat difficult to install because of the cramped space in the rear of my Griso 1200 8V and it took me awhile to figure out just how the on/off set-up works with the blue tooth being sometimes slow to connect. That said, once I figured it all out a remember to make sure I charge the battery before any rides it works exactly as described. All 3 functions are brought and certainly large enough to be seen. Battery life seems to be pretty good, but I've never run more that 5-6 hours in anyone day. The lights are more than big and bright enough to be seen even in broad daylight and being at the rider's head height they certainly fall into driver's line of sight more easily than the ones down at the rear fender, so my safety is increased. Was riding at night and had a police officer pull in behind me at a convenience store. Both him and his waiting partner came over to ask about this item. Turns out the officer that followed me in is a new rider and he was amazed at how visible the unit is. This item puts the brake and signal lights at a more eye level position which gains the attention of someone following in an automobile.     • Not bright enough for daytime
This could be a great safety asset for motorcycle riding if it were bright enough for daylight riding. Sorry to say but during daylight, it is washed out by sunlight and almost useless. Functionally it works great. Easy enough to install. Unfortunate.

    • Very bright, no instructions.
1. Will not work with CAN LED bulbs. Verify that your rear tail brake and turn bulbs have two filaments each bulb. 2. Charging connector has some corrosion from shipping, gently wiggle cable at the connection until you see the LED charging light (I only had to do this in the first day). 3. To pair blue tooth there must be power on the wiring (motorcycle brake light or a turn signal ON) and the head unit must be on. Press the pair button on the wiring harness. This was only required once on the first day. 4. To operate helmet unit Mode options: Power ON helmet unit: press and hold button until light flashes. Power OFF helmet unit: press and hold button until light flashes. 5. While the helmet unit is ON: Continuous running light: short press button light stays ON. Again, short press button light goes OFF. 6. Battery life in hours: I don't know yet. ... show more

    • Why use another device that uses gyros at triple the cost when this works flawlessly as is?
I know that for any lighting system that turns 12v power on and off like for signals and brake lights it will work flawlessly once wired correctly. I don't know what a previous reviewer was meaning about won't work with led I cannot "speak" to that. Here's the rub; Instructions are totally awful and things are misspelled. NO intelligible pairing instructions. This company was very helpful when I wrote to them about extra multiple plugs so I can wire all three of my bikes up and take the controller to each bike. I offered to write instructions for them but no joy. Why use a device with gyros and such at over triple the cost. This is a simple (less to foul up) device. ... show more

    • Could not get the thing to work.
I am very disappointed that I have had no luck getting this light to work. This is my second light. The first one didn't work at all and was returned. I will say that they were very quick to replace the first one. The instructions are fairly non existent. They do give directions for pairing the light with the bike, however when I returned it, I was told that it was already paired. The new one still doesn't work, but has different issues. I have LED lights that blink too fast, so am correcting that problem and will try again to pair the light. Not sure if that will make a difference. ... show more

    • Easy install and works as described.
Had this unit installed in 15 minutes after reviewing the wiring schematic from CanAm. Highly visible even in daylight and works with all functions. It will not operate with LED canbus wiring, double check with your motorcycle service facility before purchasing.
