    • UPDATE: with correct firmware, you can control up to 4 devices
UDPATE: SwitchBot customer support reached out and sent me a guide on how to enable more than 1 device. The guide they sent was not helpful, but through that one I was able to find another guide that stated you can only create a group of devices (which can then all be controlled at once) if using updated firmware that wasn't widely available back when I purchased the remote. If you're using this to control SwitchBot Blind Tilts, for example, you'll need firmware v2.0 or above. This was not clear before. But the firmware is now being updated automatically to a version that supports groups. I still wish they made it more clear that you need to update the firmware of the device you want to control, but on the plus side, their customer support is excellent, so I'm updating my review to 5 stars. Original review: I'm disappointed that it only controls a single device action for each button. For instance, you cannot set it to operate two blinds to open with one button and shut with the other. For that, you need to also purchase a Hub and create scenes to be triggered by each button. They should make that more clear in the product description. ... show more

    • Good but...
The remotes are great only problem is of the 5-6 that I have they ALL constantly lose connection. Mean the app is bad enough. Usually after closing the app a few times clearing the cache it connects but that is an every other day occurrence. This forces me to come back into the app which is well ok at best. ... show more

The switchbot remote has been a perfect companion to our switchbot blind tilt! We have one button setup to halfway close the blinds and the other to fully open the blinds. This product is great for the price, pretty good for small efficiencies/apartments to reroute a light switch to the front entrance. The first one I bought lasted 5 months for a took a crap and didn’t respond anymore. I changed the battery and no lights or response. Will buy again for easy solution

    • Smaller then I expected, easy to setup
So I am a current Switchbot user I have the Switchbot button pushers, curtains, and hub. I decided to give this a try for my curtains as my wife doesn't always like to use Alexa for some smart devices so decided this would be an easy solution for her. Setup was quick and easy and you can select what the buttons do. I do wish it offered cloud services like some of the other Swtichbot devices that would be neat to have it trigger other devices but as of now its only bluetooth with the hub. Its quick to trigger the actions and its much smaller then I expected. I think for the price point its a little pricey given size and lack of what you can do but its doing the trick for what I need right now. I will report back on how it holds up and battery life. Also want to say it comes with battery and an extra plus velcro if you need it. ... show more

    • Mighty little gadget
This remote is a must for the switchbot ecosystem. I have it pair to open and close the blind tilts at home. The setup is easy and very intuitive.
