The felt backing with grab every hair and lint that is laying around but it does ensure no scratches to fragile finishes. The pockets are large enough to accommodate every knife in my collection including 4+ inch length blades. The zippers are smooth and high quality, and the case frames the knives attractively. I like they idea behind this display case but believe it lacks the quality needed for anyone wishing to use it to take their collection to shows often. The back is a felt that ultimately will pick up any loose particles it comes in contact with and with time will pill. Two of zippers tend to stick when using the pulls to unzip. The plastic pockets are not made for cold weather as it will get hard and crack. It’s nice that you can fold it in half using the handles to transport from one place to another. If you are just needing something too store your collection in this might be your answer. Not a $20 case. ... show more

Not a bad option. I have 2 books full of folders and several large fixed blades. With this, I can set a knife rotation every so often and then pick what I want for the day.
