Love the look and ease of cleaning this design. Fits a small space beautifully. Saves water. Easy to control. Makes the room look classy. Problem is, and it's a big one, the bowl is too shallow. Pee splashes out of the bowl no matter if you are a man or woman. Very annoying and messy. The underside of the seat is dripping wet. Must remind anyone sitting on it to situate way back on the seat or their legs will get wet. This is the only bad thing to say about it. I hope the next design will have a deeper bowl to make this model perfect. ... show more

I just got this toilet installed. Installation was relatively easy and it arrived in one piece. I was concerned after after having read so many reviews of Swiss Madisson arriving broken. This was not the case. The design is very nice. It's a great choice for a small modern bathroom. Flushing works just great so far and cleaning seems like it will be easy. I like the flush mechanism style and with dual flush I feel we'll save on water usage which is great! It fills up quickly. Use less water and style flush well. The quality of the ceramic is quite decent. Comfort will need some getting use to as the opening is large. But it's okay. Not for you if you like to spend hours on the toilet... Now where I was a bit disappointed was the seat and lid quality. It feels very cheap plastique, flex a bit in the middle, and don't have a lot of rigidity. I think it's okay for a guest toilet and someone not too heavy. I would have paid easily $50 more to get a much better quality seat and lid on this toilet. The slow close isn't that good. The seat falls down okay, but the lid is super slow to close off. And last the alignment of the seat post aren't great at all and I'm not too sure of the longevity of the seat connector pieces which feels a tad cheap as well. I haven't quite figure out how to place the seat just right to align with the bowl. It's a hair annoying. I'll work on it some more I presume. Overall It's still a very nice toilet that performs well and has the very nice modern style to it. I don't regret the purchase. I just wish the quality of the lid, seat, and connections had been a lot better... For the cost it's a decent toilet. Just up the quality of the seat please! If it wasn't for the fact that it is just what we needed for that small bathroom, I might have been closer to 3.5 stars than 4. ... show more

Ok as an Aussie guy living in the US, American design and tastes for toilets is insanely yuck! The typically available Home Depot toilet is butt ugly, bulky and so dated! I'm vomiting at the range of toilets, tap ware, decor sold in 2019 that I last saw in style in Australia in the 80s complete with single water guzzling flushes. I love my fellow Americans but when it comes to taste and decor I need to the East and I found this Euro design toilet with dual flush and stylish design. So the positives is that it is a sexy looking toilet, it has dual flush and the seat is silently closing, pretty damn solid, I recommend a second person to help install if you're not experienced. The negatives are purely I hated installing it! I lost two flange bolts down the toilet drain so had to replace those, I hate wax rings and namely the space to work to bolt the toilet down is a nightmare to get into. I idiotically also didn't put the toilet seat in to begin with, installed the toilet, thought I needed to remove the toilet to install the seat (I was flustered and not thinking straight) removed it....cut a long story short my own stupidity made this harder than it meant to be mostly, but my main gripe with the toilet is access the hole to bolt the toilet down, other than that it was pretty sweet. = ... show more

The SM-1T256 Carré One Piece Toilet. Came well-preserved in its packaging, on date it was scheduled. Impressed by its Good looks, its style. Will suit well with the part modern/part retro Guest bathroom it is going in. However, as the plumber was installing it to our new place, i got a call saying that the package was missing the pins and hardware used to attach the lid and seat to the ceramic base. Had searched for hidden compartments in the shipping box and...nothing. Pins and connecting hardware are missing. We need help urgently from Swiss Madison in locating these components so we can have a functioning toilet. (You just can't go to the local HW store and pick yourself up one of these square seats readily...) Summary for ours: Temporarily incomplete, but very stylish. 12/20/20_Update: we were able to locate the needed hinges and installed them myself, very easily. Seat cover and seat go down gently. Very gently. No plastic cover slamming against the porcelain. Loving this. ... show more
