We bought this toilet for a small bathroom and to save water. I give it 5 stars for both of these features. For comfort I give it a half star. I really think they could have done better at designing a toilet seat that fits the damn toilet better. I am 5'5" at 139llbs. So not necessarily a big person. This toilet seat is designed for a 40lb person, think a 5 year old. Installation was a bear. The fact that the bolt holes are only visible through two access ports is a pain. Tightening it was a pain and tightening the water connections was a pain. Put all that into a reduced space9 That's why we bought a small toilet -small space) And it was a total pain in the butt. for water reduction and space saving this is GREAT. For ease of installation and comfort it is horrible. with a different seat it might make it worth while. ... show more

The toilet is very nice, high quality, outstanding shipping speed and very well packaged. I would have gladly given it all 5 stars, except for the fact that it did not come with the proper bolts to attach to the toilet flange, it cam with lag bolts and not closet bolts.

This is an amazing little toilet. My only complaint is the incredibly cheap, uncomfortable plastic seat. The lid is suppose to close on its own. But it’s so cheap and light it stops midway. Lol. I only wish Swiss Madison offered a solid and more comfortable toilet seat.

We paid a "friend" nearly $3000 for a bathroom rehab that left us wading through water for over 6 weeks. Swiss Madison customer service saved the day! The "friend" installed this toilet backward, which may have to do with bragging about using drugs in my driveway while on the job. We had to straighten out a lot of sabotage. On the toilet, wax was dumped down the hole instead of around it, the lid not secured ("too hard"), and the flush mechanisms put in backward ("You'll just have to push the big button when you pee.") We were able to re-secure the toilet on our own as far as the wax, and I nonchalantly fixed the "too hard" lid during a midnight bathroom visit. The backward flush mechanism was hard; I could not figure out which side would go under the "big" button and which under the "little." I finally figured out the die-cuts and Swiss Madison let me know it is blue under big (white under little). The "friend" had twisted the nuts going down into the flush mechanism to the point of being inoperable; once the blue v. white debacle was resolved, I could twist it by hand (no need to even remove the nut) until it worked. I am a 52-year-old disabled lawyer, not a plumber. If I could do this, anyone could. When it was all done, I found the sealed bag of instructions and needed parts under a pile of debris the "friend" left. Our cat chewed on the corner of the bag, so at least someone got some benefit. Swiss Madison replied to my question here and via email. They are just stellar, and this is a very good product. ... show more

After reading review and scouring the internet, I loved its sleek design and look. Thinking it would make cleaning around it easy and fast, so I decided to pull the trigger on Swiss Madison ll. When it arrived, I was surprised on its size, got out the tape measure and bowl hits almost 14 inches. I am six foot or 180 cm tall and when setting down my knees are higher than my butt, makes getting up a bit uncomfortable. This was everything I wanted: modern, elegant, and easy to clean but good is it if you’re not comfortable, I mean you are on there at least once a day. ... show more

I was happy to discover that there was a toilet small enough to accomodate my new bathroom configuration. Although this is only 5-6 inches shorter in depth from the wall, it was enough to allow both a comfortable seated position and easy access to a bathtub. My son is 6'3" 250+ and he can live with this. It does work well at disposing what gets put in it and love the dual mode flush valve that helps conserve water while it works. I must say that I did not envy my plumber that had to install this unit as it took a little longer that I have seen other toilets installed and he did mentioned that the designer probably never installed a toilet in his life. Overall if you are in need of an efficient toilet for a smaller bathroom that won't break the bank and you are not installing it yourself this is a winner! ... show more
