So much better than having a low frame and a box spring. The only thing I didn't like was how the parts go together. it's odd how there are two 1's and two 2's and the 2 1 do not go next to each other. Plus when you set down 5 and 6 they don't really stay down well, they need to improve that and screw those in. but overall I'm very happy built it in another room and carried it over and it's very sturdy. Odd to put a bedskirt on but I'm very happy it's a great deal. With this and a 6 inch mattress I got a brand new bed for about $200

Although the frame is sturdy enough, I forgot that the legs were not offset. Walking around the bed leads to unnecessary hitting feet on the metal legs. We covered them with foam tubing which helps, however, in a tighter room space your toes are constantly bumping into the legs. Ouch! Just a reminder.
