I was worried that this ice maker wouldn’t be any good because the price was so low. But it fit my space requirements so I thought I’d try it. Well it is well worth the price! It is a real workhorse and easy to set up and use. It will keep the ice frozen while plugged in but they advise against it, so I just make enough for a small container in my freezer and that lasts me a day or two. I definitely recommend it is you have a small space.

This is a great backup machine to an icemaker. It has controls for size of ice small or large, if the ice bin is full and if the water level is low. The only thing it did not have was AN INSTRUCTION MANUAL. I watched the Amazon reviewers videos and found the ONE woman who explained where to pour the water into the machine as it is different than other machines and what the features were and how to access them. The ice cubes are hollow bullets so they will not last long but they help out. To the Manufacturer: add an instruction manual eh?

Got it today. Set it up, which was super easy to follow directions. Added water (twice because I had a spill when I didn't notice the plug was pulled). Followed directions on how to start. It's been making small ice since. I have been watching it on and off since I started it. It stands alone and sturdy. I tried an ice cube from the first batch. My dog and I enjoyed the frozen goodness. Looking forward to enjoying more tomorrow. Will update once I've used it more. I gave 4 starts to start... *edit* it's been a full 24+ hours and I love it. The ONLY issue I have is that it doesn't keep the ice frozen, so it's continuously running as the ice melts. My plan is to make enough for the freezer and turn it off at night.
